  1. I liked our second goal - could have dicked about in the corner - but nope - Obafemi to Che back of the net - As Peter Kay would say “Ave it”! For far too long we have been far too polite in our play - that goal just showed a welcome bit of nastiness.
  2. What a Shiite penalty
  3. That was surprising to see not to even be on the bench
  4. I must be reading this under the influence of psychedelic narcotics. £20-£25m plus KWP on top! Blimey pull that Rabbit out of the hat would be like that American who bought, paid and was shipped London Bridge when what he thought he was buying was Tower Bridge. If it was picking teams in the school playground and the last 2 kids were PEH and KWP - it would be KWP all day long, his brain works so much faster to start with - you can trust him with the ball. PEH, it was mentioned last night was a pet project for Pep at Bayern yet we snapped him up for £10m? I’ve watched pretty much every home game he has played in and can’t recall driving home after a game thinking blimey he had a cracking game today. Last night we are pressing for the win PEH attempts a cross field pass straight to a Brighton player he’s just stood there admonishing himself, Brighton are on their toes down the pitch with half our team facing the wrong way! Monday night at United KWP looses the ball out on the wing cheaply leaving him on the his hands and knees on the floor, mere seconds later he has ball back at his feet having corrected his error gone after it leaving the Man U player In a heap on the floor legally. As I am still smacked up on illicit substances PEH looks more likely the makeweight in us getting KWP from Spurs - if Ralph wants him.
  5. To be expected with such an oddment out there here and there - Ings will likely come off because he is just a yard short - which is not to malign him because he has worked like a dog the last few games - likewise Prowsey. sorry boys but Redmond still needs a rocket up his bloody backside he is so damn predictable, on the odd occasion he buy a ticket to the raffle he actually makes a difference.
  6. We all know he’s not very good -Obafemi giving him a verbal volley at Huddersfield last season said it all. Didn’t say he had used us as a stepping stone - more making the point of get a great contract then do sweet f a admittedly he hasn’t swung the lead as much of a few others on our books.
  7. Whoever we get - just hope it’s not the Lemina type who signs up gets PL wages then dicks about on a good screw and thinks just by standing on the stepping stone the top dogs will come running Bit like the Norwegian fella - 5 year contract “I’ve got a deal to set me up for life” - already going back to Celtic this season - How about breaking a sweat to see if you can actually play for the team who is probably supplementing his wages. As someone pointed out on the Man U match thread aside from Romeu and Jan all our foreign players are currently broken. (not including PEH as he has nailed his flag to the mast).
  8. So do we go for this one or the next for commentator “9-0” shot bingo............... just for a bit of immature fun? 😁
  9. Wow what a bizarre hat trick for Sterling what happened next?😳
  10. Now he was a proper Football legend RIP
  11. Anchelotti is no mug he changed it up, nullifying us a little, think the yellows for both Centre backs and Armstrong clipped our wings a little bit in the challenge. We looked so pleasing on the eye first half, how we weren’t out of sight was amazing, but Everton were stubborn defending as we were against City Sunday. Again Walker- Peters for a player who looks like you could pop him in your pocket is a tenacious chap with a nice touch, liked it when he lost the ball he quickly made up for it winning it back, I certainly would have no issue if we could snap him up if Spurs don’t want him. Redmond still drives me up the wall, gets the ball runs gets near the box and the bigger boys home in on him and he just stops, some on here have said they are not convinced by Adams, personally I think Adams football brain is much sharper than Redmond. Still we got something off Everton a spawny winner from them would have been a travesty.
  12. The UA baseball cap that matches the training gear Ralph has been wearing the last couple of games, looks like he has made a mad dash from riding winner in the 4pm at Ascot
  13. Nothing wrong with those, makes a change and as others have said rids us of the stupid “Bra” Under Armour seem obsessed with. Seems a shame to have done away with the Yellow on the away, especially when the manager commented this past season that the boys seem to like “pulling on their yellow trousers and going out to play”. On the Saints Facebook page they had a past shirt vote recently for the next historical replica to appear in the shop, the 1976-1980 thick stripes with thinner side stripes wiped the floor with the rest so I’m guessing that’s next years prep being done.
  14. They are in a spot of Bury type bother so probably still searching
  15. I think we have our tails up now - don’t think there is anyone in the remaining games to scare us. We look fit and that showed in the City game, actually from both sides, where just the minimum of subs were made, ours replacing a bloke who hasn’t played 90 minutes all season and City trying to unlock our door. Keep PEH and his negative play off the pitch and we can pocket the 3 points.
  16. Said it before even at 55 it is like being a kid waiting for the next edition of Whizzer & Chips or the Beano to come out - then when it “drops on the doormat” you've read most of it before heading off to school 😳🤪
  17. I had a couple of mates who phoned me today saying that’s what amazed them the most.
  18. Think Romeu is a far better foil for JWP in midfield bit like Wanyama and Schniederlin where Victor was the blunt instrument and Morgan the surgeon. Romeu is the iron fist in Prowseys velvet glove. Romeu always seems to look to play forward much more than PEH.
  19. Think Ralph didn’t want to break the cohesion, making changes for changes sake might have broken the spell, also shows the level of fitness both teams had, us to defend them to attack. It might be red and white striped glasses I viewed that through, but that has to be the most intense game so far of the restart. I am bloody knackered. 😁
  20. Given the global presence of Under Armour the do seem like a bunch of Stumblebums dragging their feet each year with our kits. all seems a bit tinpot But then when the CEO of our headline sponsor is a bloody Squirrel we shouldn’t be surprised it’s all a bit cockeyed.
  21. Amazon Prime have already proved they have the capacity to show every game on one day - be a bit of coup if they yank that rabbit out of the hat!
  22. Pretty certain that was nailed on, new stadium we suddenly looked like we had money Bierhoff would have been the marquee signing (he was one of German Footballs pin up boys) to say “hey look out everyone, shiny stadium and big Bollocks with it on the pitch”. Trouble is he wanted big money wages and Lowe being rightly sensible and cautious 33year old player on that kind of money no way. So we got Rory Delap and Augustin Delgado probably on wages combined adding up to what Bierhoff wanted.
  23. Norwich goalie just gifted a goal to Arsenal to set them on their way.
  24. They deffo don’t sing that! 😳🙄🤪
  25. Please can someone give me a clue as to what words they actually sing when Sky goes to adverts during football - me and Mrs JBS have given up guessing - “see the ball” possibly At the end.
