  1. It's been a strange season with such a feel good factor from having ML buy the club. Obviously expectation for things to move quickly is there but NC is orchestrating a five year plan to get Saints into the Premier League and stay there. On that basis it is good to see infrastructure being improved, with Les Reed joining to oversee player development - will we get to produce young stars (or be in the first team) from our academy and actually hang on to them? Also, with the five year plan, it looks like AP is building a decent side with the few players we already had that can cope with promotion next season and challenging in the Championship the following season. A great day out at wembley with the JPT win. Grade: B+ Wishes for next season: 3/4 more quality players (RB, CM are essential) Be able to grind out a result regardless of how bad the ref is against those teams looking to park the bus in front of goal and counter attack. League One Champions Average attendance to be above 25k

  3. Fake sign promotes Cotswold viewpoint as 'dogging' area: http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/uk_news/england/gloucestershire/8660449.stm Top marks to the guy that made it and put it up!
  4. Gone are the days when a build is only 3 percent over budget!
  5. As far as I know, football related creditors are unsecured not secured, it's only the rules of the league that means they need to be paid in full for entry into a league, otherwise sanctions will be put in place including non expulsion. Does anyone know when the funds were raised for the two charities? I'm just thinking that if the cheque was paraded at the start of the season it can be clearly shown up to be a sham to deflect the bad publicity and Azougy was carrying on with the policy of non payment of monies owed.

  7. Mutters to himself.. "I bet golden boy Blair wouldn't have got into this ****storm!"
  8. I bet you're good with money.
  9. The only thing to add is that if he is any good (but not suitable for Saints right now and where we are going) then another team is sure to pick him up.
  10. I expect the fee is there to cover costs to return funds as well as the usual admin of an account if the club does get liquidated!
  11. Only Chainrai is noted as a secured creditor (although I expect HMRC to challenge that in some way). If the footall authorities withold the parachute payments to pay the football debts, it may open up legal challenges, if not then HMRC share as you say will rise. At the end of the day, football debt will be repaid in full and PP will be used to pay the debt, it's only a question of how. I also doubt the PL & FL will have time to ratify or agree to the new PPs schedule for those relegated this season.
