Saints only consided three while he was here, Blackpool (A), Burnley (H) and Wolves (A). He was at fault for the Blackpool one with a clumsy tangle of a challenge and he impeded a Burnley player running into the box. Saga (I think) was at fault for the Wolves penalty. Not quite four but maybe you were thinking he was at fault for all the penalties we considered this year including the game he didn't play? He also scored two goals, one a cracker! I'm not saying he should be signed, if we have money to spend there are better options, if not, he may prove worthwhile ad interim.

I remember those days (not the smoking), now I'd be lucky to get passed pint number three! I'm sure the liver test wouldn't tell you anything you didn't know.

I've obviously missed something, what's the connection to healthcare companies?

But it was his signing and he was what 22/23 at the time.
-
Well, that was pure comedy. Deano, you're got the biggest plonker on here with so much pulling going on! Congrats.

But he's probably living in the same dream many of the supporters are. Only Gadamak can end this deal.

He's not going... "Fahim, who is intent on adopting a low-key public persona, has no plans to hold a media conference before or after the Fulham match or to arrange any formal meetings with the supporters. " from http://www.guardian.co.uk/football/2009/aug/11/sulaiman-al-fahim-portsmouth

Indeed... we have been very very lucky!

but then what FC? If the club had made it to the summer, do you really think it would have got better or Lowe and co would have gone? Surely the club would have continued to decline for another season or so before the inevitable would have happen. There is only so much the club can do to stop the decline, we went passed that stage at the first relegation.

Especially at the time when they were pursuing a striker called Kalinic, first name Nikola.

Lots of signings not necessarily a good thing
Doctoroncall replied to kpturner's topic in The Saints
says more about the manager than the players, I still think Norwich will be up there, probably without Gunn. -
They need more than just some investment. It's alledged there are loans still outstanding to the tune of £60m! At the moment it's not clear whether they will find investment (is the club worth £60m?) but in a couple of weeks we'll find out.

Considering the little time they had to bring in what players they could showed what a good manager Mick Harford is to.
