Equally you cannot deny that the Palestinians have been starved of investment opportunity, and, more importantly, basics such as food, fuel and medicines. Or that Hamas was democratically elected to be the government but is not recognised as the legitimate voice of the Palestinians.
Any nation, effectively blockaded and without the basics for existence, will try all means available to it to try to change that. Whilst our geographic situation means that that is unlikely ever to happen to us, we would do the same if the circumstances were the same.
Both sides have to talk.
