Ivan Katalinic's 'tache

Great attitude from JWP. Also likely to be responsible for circulating the embarrassing/incriminating photos from the Xmas party as the only sober one on site?

Whatever happened to fighting for your place? 2 games out if the side, it'd be a sad indictment of the game now if that meant he needed to move on for personal reasons (unless Poch has told him there will be minimal game time this season).

Works for me...

I know it rolls over until Monday because the 31st is on a Saturday but I wondered if there would be some merit in starting it earlier, just in case there are any whispers at the game today. Poch did indicate in his press conference he'd be happy to go with what he's got but he did also say they are still keeping an eye on the market. Also I'd have thought there would be more fringe players leaving, as Deano did yesterday.

All the best Deano. Great skipper for us at an important time in our development. Wish him well.

I always thought the opposite. He was like a fart which, just when pride in his work was at hand, you realise he'd spoiled it by following through.

Thank God Lambert has hair or would've had NO chance of a call up!!

Improvement on last season's result but once again struggled to break down a massed defence after an early set back. Osvaldo encouraging if he can stay on the pitch. JWP man of the match easily. Going to be some player...

£37 million spent? Same result as last season? There, that should get us a last minute goal...

Been a few in Menorca where I was until yesterday, including mine.

Last year I go away and we sign Ramirez whilst I'm away; this year I'm away and we sign Osvaldo. Top, top signing - brilliant stuff again from the chaps running the club. For those of you who continue to want to see big name signings, I'm happy for you to start up a fund to ensure I'm out of the country for the duration of all transfer windows...

Worked for Puncheon. Sign him up.

That's better. An offer which says "here's a big pile of cash Pablo, you've got 48 hours to sign up or you can p*ss off" and we move on.

How lucky Nicky C is holidaying right outside Osvaldo's house carrying nothing but a contract and a pen in his case.

Is there a limit to how many times you can watch that goal before it becomes creepy?

Does this mean we are not selling Rickie to Reading then?

Got no words suitable. F**king legend comes close though.

OMG! 2 mins 45 seconds. Legend.

Surely 1 goal Welbeck will save us? Or maybe 15 goal Lambo would be a better bet. What d'ya reckon Roy???

Never thought I'd ever see that said about little old Saints...

Knowing our luck, Gaston and Maya will collide in such a way that they're both out injured for the season...

Sounds promising. Maybe ties in with the Wednesday deadline thing?

Wasn't the speculation over the weekend that we'd set a deadline of Wednesday on this? Not sure whether that was for an answer or the deal to be done?

Any. Transfer. News? Or is this the 'have a go at Danny Fox' thread now? Just so's I know in future like.

Wonder if our offer will become more tempting the closer we get to the end of the window.
