As disappointed as I was last week, I am proud this. Excellent performance, disciplined, well drilled but with quality and ability all over the pitch. Osvaldo is getting closer to that 1st goal and I have a feeling he will go on a run when he gets it. Lovren is just what our defence needed and whilst Wanyama's passing can sometimes disappoint, his destructive work when the opposition have the ball is impressive too. Now we need to convert some of our chances at home and capitalise on this win by beating Palace midweek.

Thought Lambert did ok with what he was given. The service into him was poor as was the movement around him. Held it up particularly well in the first half when there were runners around him, no hope in the second when they stopped making the runs to protect what we had. Should we get to Brazil, I still think he offers more to the team than Andy Carroll or other so called target men.

I can't believe we're re-signing Neil McCann to fill that number 11 shirt. You wanted a winger, well they've delivered again (unlike McCann ever did). Poor performance, poor result. Not the end of the world but we don't seem to have the same verve up front as last year and a pacy forward to push the opposition back line back and create space in front of it would be a wise addition before Monday is out.

I don't think he does simply have to accept our terms but maybe give it more than 2 games. It may be that the manager subsequently decides Cork is a better player than the 12m man over time.

Whatever happened to fighting for your place? 2 games out if the side, it'd be a sad indictment of the game now if that meant he needed to move on for personal reasons (unless Poch has told him there will be minimal game time this season).
