Nathaniel Clyne's Ocean Village home broken into

Didn't this happen to Liverpool players a while back? Wonder if the same group have simply moved down the country? Utter t*ssers.. Or maybe it was Nathan Dyer getting the first blow in as Clyne will be robbing him of the ball for 90 mins next weekend. -
Ramiez, time to settle or not good enough?

Took 1 decent free kick which Lambert nearly turned in at the far post if I remember correctly... Has flattered to deceive most of the season but I have a feeling he'll suddenly just 'click' and not look back and we'll wonder why we doubted him. A bit like J-rod. -

Looks like Swansea have even more cause to dislike him than us... -

Is there any team you dislike more than Pompey?
Ivan Katalinic's 'tache posted a topic in The Saints
Having a chat with a mate today and he said, since Fat Sam went to West Ham, he actually thought he might dislike them more than The Skates, which made me wonder if anyone else out there disliked a team more than our traditional rivals? I've always had a particular dislike for Arsenal but no more than Pompey. -
Couldn't see one anywhere. I guess this will mainly hinge on our internationals returning injury free & hoping Shaw's knock is not too serious. Need to build on that excellent performance against Liverpool with another good one against Chelsea.

I love the way he goes up to each player before the game and makes sure they're ready. I presume he's saying something like 'don't try and I'll kill you'. Might be why Mayuka has disappeared off the face of the planet recently. Didn't try hard enough in training. Absolutely agree that we must sign him up. Best keeper since Niemi.

Agree he was brilliant today, pushing Jay for MoM in my view, but realistically not going to displace Cole or Baines at the mo (but maybe in a year or 2). Clyne & Lambo are more realistic options now IMO. And yes we need to sign Luke up at the 1st available opportunity. -

With Roy Hodgson there today & having named his England squad this week, I'd be interested to know whether he still thinks Sturridge is better than Rickie. Or even Johnson better than Clyne. Brilliant performance & excellent result. Jay Rod fantastic in a team of great performances. Hope we can keep it up! -
He's got a reverse Guly do Prado contract. He's not allowed to play 15 minutes or more in 85% of games.

Shouldn't that headline have said Andy's Crap rather than Andy scrap? Don't they proof read things any more before they publish articles?

Any chance we can put Poch on gardening leave and get Nigel back?
-
True but to Punch there is a massive difference between being farmed out on loan, getting the odd game here and there & then moving on with a few Champ clubs to pick from and being given the chance to play really well for your club in the top flight, showing what you can really do and getting a large signing on fee for another Prem side. He gets the chance to earn a good move and NC gets some value for money from a player performing well until the end of his contract.
-
I've always wondered whether there's been some form of gentleman's agreement between Punch & NC that he could go at the end of his contract for free, earning himself a nice big signing on fee, if he came back to the club and applied himself properly, such was the amazing turnaround when he came back into the fold, following his twitter outburst. Hence no deal will ever be in the offing. Total guesswork from me & I'd be disappointed if he left, such has been his transformation.

Gerry Forrest. Decent right back who had the distinction of losing his place to Ray Wallace.
-
Gordon Hobson. Decent lower league scorer who Saints bought to partner Colin Clarke. Did ok but soon lost out to the emerging Rod Wallace, Alan Shearer and MLT. Seem to recall him getting a hat-trick against someone once, might have been Villa. Just checked: it was Man City.

Can't believe this is the reason Cortese sacked Adkins... What he does on a weekend away is his own business. -

Head not so much held high as in the f**king clouds! Been hoping to beat one of he so called big boys on our return an we take out the multi billionaire champs. And by outplaying them too. Now I feel we're properly back in the Prem!! Poch has made a difference I honestly never saw happening when we lost Adkins. Fantastic. Words are not enough. Beer might be. -

Or a Billy Sharp, maybe? Gutted at result. Think we'll improve at the back when Forren is in the side but seems to be taking forever to get up to speed.
