I like the fact we are pushing to take one of Spurs players when they have spent the summer trying to punch at least two of ours... Just a shame it's Townsend although he might find a new lease of life under Ronnie.

That's a fair bit of cash for Jack but he's needed here and I hope he convince Ronnie to give him a new deal over the next few months to keep him here too.

I guess he's worth whatever the club were happy to pay for him. Whether that financial payment translates into actual value on the field of play will become apparent over the course of the season(s).
