  1. That's because Boris turfed out/forced out anyone competent, it was all very much intentional. But now they're left with very low quality.
  2. People can make light of partygate if they want, they're wrong, but it's at least open for debate. But the Pincher and KGB shit is appalling and obviously very, very wrong.
  3. The fact that the main "gotcha" from the likes of the daily mail actually proved they'd done nothing wrong made it pretty clear they wouldn't get fined. Starmer playing a blinder with the "I'd quite" speech.
  4. Yep... Broja Adams Aribo Hudson-Odoi Lavia JWP
  5. I saw a suggestion on twitter that a VONC is what Boris wants as if he survives it he'll use it as an excuse to un-resign.
  6. I assume anyone with leadership ambitions (i.e. Truss) will be getting out asap. Won't want to be associated with the sinking ship.
  7. A forward line of Long and Gray, like an elderly porn star
  8. City fans pretty annoyed about Romeo Lavia on twitter. Good sign.
  9. Kits looks great. As others have said such a shame we have a gambling sponsor, does sour the whole thing.
  10. I genuinely don't understand the logic behind being opposed to tactical voting. We have FPTP, it's literally the right thing to do.
  11. I think he would be good in a 3 alongside a couple of more 'conventional' CBs, but he's too much of a liability in a back 2 without serious improvement.
  12. Just bizzare. All 5 of those "benefits" are quite obviously worst under an unchecked Tory government. "end austerity.." the thing our government initiatives. "stop the attacks on the NHS..." and entirely domestic policy. "end attacks on our workers rights..." christ.
  13. Tbf, Strachan was all about "useful" players rather than players with a broad range of skill. Shows that Telfer, Delap, Tessem etc. all did better than Svensson despite being far less talented. Not that I'm complaining.
  14. Having a back central 3 of Bazunu, Salisu and ABK is very exciting as they all clearly have high potential. Would be very nervous going with it this season without more experienced options just in case.
  15. I generally thought that Salisu was better when he was the deeper of the two, watching runners and using his pace to snuf out attacks rather than a front foot head-to-the-ball type. Two of them could be our new Svensson and Lundekvam.
  16. Great name.
  17. Because it's entertaining.
  18. At this point, who can blame him. He's obviously talking complete and utter, baseless garbage, but once you've done that long enough there's no going back so you might as well embrace it.
  19. Also, if Newcastle actually wanted him and were determined to get him they would pay us an absolute fortune to the point I don't think it will be a bad thing.
  20. We're crying out for a 3 man midfield as we currently have Diallo, JWP and Armstrong (S) who would all really suit it. We have no #10s or strikers that particularly suit the box front 4. If we sign another advanced CM type then it would be bizarre to carry on with the 4-2-2-2. There's also a chance that some of our ineffective attackers might come to life in a front three.
  21. Wouldn't be six people though would it? I assume each refugee fight will require quite an entourage of government officials?
  22. Whilst I accept McCarthy's limitations and don't want him as first choice, he was our POTS in the 2017/18 season so surely better than Stekelenberg? My memory has Boruc as absolutely brilliant, partly because he was excellent under Poch and partly because he was such a magnificent upgrade on Davis.
  23. Economy actually contracted in April. A bitter blow for the "yeah but imagine labour in power" crowd. Sunak will go down as one of the worst chancellors in history.
  24. 100% on Benrahma, would be chuffed with that. The main issue with Minamino, as we saw when he was here, is that he's not an attacking midfield who can play the 10, he's a forward perfectly suited to a front 3.
