Probably just see it as an opp to pick up a bargain. Reckon we'll let him go for pretty little and they might think they can turn things round for him.

We should be throwing the kitchen sink at trying to get Ramos, he's exactly what we need. Whether he's happy playing championship football next year is another matter.

Tino situation is getting quite concerning.

Che has decent attributes as a striker but is a dreadful 1 on 1 finisher, incredibly bad. He can't be the 1 up front as we need our furthest player forward to be able to finish those chances.

Midfield looked very good last night and we have decent options in there, especially if the Danish chap signs. It's the bits either end of the field that aren't up to scratch. It is great to be finally playing a 3 man midfield.

Southampton 0-1 Newcastle League Cup Semi Final 1st Leg

Have they announced ticket timings? -
Indeed. At the heart of it, he's just technically not a very good defender, things like his positioning and defensive decision making are poor. He makes up for it, in some part, due to his workrate and willing and is quite good on the ball. If he's to be a long term option, I think he's either got to: 1. Properly re-train as a swashbuckling right back 2. Develop a lot in his technical defensive capabilities 3. Play in a back 3 that specifically compensates for him

Home first? -
That first half was superb. We'll see if it's a flash in the pan or geniune progress.

Saints 2-0 Man City - The Treble is STILL on!

I have a feeling we're in for a bit of surprise in this one. I reckon an early San Marino-esc goal giving us a lead in the first few minutes. Southampton 1 - 6 Man City. -
Keto definitely isn't healthy as it's excluding an essential food group. Vegan can be healthy as you can get all the nutrition from plant based sources, it's just more difficult. There's no doubt that people should eat more vegatables and less meat, the impact on your body of having meat with every meal isn't great.

Experienced striker available.

I wouldn't look at NA beers as healthy themselves, the biggest upside is the consequences of not drinking - i.e. more energy for fitness the next day/less likely to eat shit

People reacting that a back 3 is defensive, but forget that our normal attacking players are crap but our full backs are good. This formation gets our most capable players further forward, I think it makes sense until we add some more quality up front.

Considering giving up booze. Can easily go without for a while but once I start drinking I drink til I drop. Think I have to stop, but scared that my entire social life and many of my friendships are orientated around "going to the pub/bar" etc.

I think they thought they stood the best chance by being surprisingly attacking, but it spectacularly backfired.

"Chiesa picks it up, carries it forward, he beats one, beats a second...a third...brilliant...in to the box, he cuts it back...Armstrong shoots...throw in"

Sounds like you need to improve your xZs

I suspect our maverick approach to hosting the tail end of the Euros might have shifted our chances of hosting the world cup back a few decades.

Imagine him in a Ralph side, slowly having any dynamism slowly sapped out of him.

Noone should be booked for wearing a political symbol, that's just blatantly ridiculous. Maybe a fine, but don't change the rules of football for political reasons (I suspect the "don't bring politics in to football" brigade will disagree with me on this for some reason).

Quite a shift from Trussecnomics

Last year of his contract isn't he? I assume there is interest to renew but you'd want to see a few more performances like yesterday before you do.
