The ridiculous thing is that we have a massive glut of gas in the country at the moment which has crashed the wholesale gas price. We should actually have cheaper energy price but the market (the energy companies) are keeping them high. I know it would be idiologically intollerable for many, but the ultimate solution for this is a publically owned utility company that can ensure a fair price. And before anyone jumps on it, that a publically owned option, not to nationalise the whole industry. Looking like a strong night for Labour on the whole. Holding their seats in the red wall compared to 2018 is a massive improvement on the nose dive in 2019 and they're continuing to dominate increasingly in London and the southern Cities. Libs also taking seats off Tories. Will be interesting to see Scotland and Wales comes through as they were the areas projected to be most damanging for the Tories/beneficial for Labour.

I think the biggest issue was that Carl was very, very good. Lots of fan interaction and insightful, well researched articles about the club, tactics and players. Dan barely interacted with the fans and his articles felt lazy - though they did improve over time. With the athletic being a subscription based service it's not surprising people felt a bit disappointed.
