The United Kingdom and the Death of Boris Johnson as we know it.

So it looks pretty likely there will be a VONC in the next couple of weeks. Anyone's guess which way it will go, I assume several Tories are hatching plans as we speak. -
Went to the Benali testimonail, great event. From memory I think that's the only time we wore that kit in a game.

I know the imperial measurements thing is supposed to stoke the culture war, but it feels like an own goal for the government as 1. Noone under 60 understands it so will see it as a pain and 2. I can imagine some brexiteers thinking "ermmm, is that the biggest benefit?". Distraction from Partygate I guess. -
The ridiculous thing is that we have a massive glut of gas in the country at the moment which has crashed the wholesale gas price. We should actually have cheaper energy price but the market (the energy companies) are keeping them high. I know it would be idiologically intollerable for many, but the ultimate solution for this is a publically owned utility company that can ensure a fair price. And before anyone jumps on it, that a publically owned option, not to nationalise the whole industry. On reflection I think it's probably KWP at LWB and Tella at RWB, think we've done that before at some point this season?
-
Not really sure what that is. Salisu at LB? 3 at the back with Tella at LWB?

The one with the bow and arrow in the kops or the one whither the serial bell ringer killer?

What does the % relate to? Christ, if our fans are the most intelligent there isn't much hope for the country.

God I really hope the Tories get buried in 2024 and aren't seen again for a very long time. What an aborrant excuse for a political party. -
If they lose to Chelsea then we're essentially safe as their goal difference is so bad. Unless something crazy were to happen like we lose 10-0 to Liverpool.

Looking like a strong night for Labour on the whole. Holding their seats in the red wall compared to 2018 is a massive improvement on the nose dive in 2019 and they're continuing to dominate increasingly in London and the southern Cities. Libs also taking seats off Tories. Will be interesting to see Scotland and Wales comes through as they were the areas projected to be most damanging for the Tories/beneficial for Labour. -
He's a very good option on a free tbf. Also, given the absolute car crash at United this season it's bizarre he hasn't been given more of a chance.

Christ. I hope the next government, in whatever form, will introduce some sort of integrity bill so that MPs can't just willfully lie all the fucking time. -
For both teams. Could definitely see it being 22 players passing it around for 90 minutes for a mutually beneficially point each.

I think the biggest issue was that Carl was very, very good. Lots of fan interaction and insightful, well researched articles about the club, tactics and players. Dan barely interacted with the fans and his articles felt lazy - though they did improve over time. With the athletic being a subscription based service it's not surprising people felt a bit disappointed.

Things are warming up nicely for Thursday. If the Tories get trashed it might be the end for BoJo. -
One benefit of our season essentially ending in March is that we should able to give players like Small more minutes. Would be very disappointing if he doesn't get some.

Pretty reasonably query tbf.

He's been superb, very good movement and finishing. Seems to have fit in really well. He's clearly a bit of a character but considering he's still only 21 and already and excellent championship striker, you'd expect he's got the potential to play in the prem. -
Would people be against Tarkowski on a free?

Whilst I agree it's all a bit all over the place, I think people forget what he inherited and where we are now compared to where we were when Mark Hughes was sacked. Ralph's an odd manager in terms of results but we are better than we were and we also have a younger, more talented squad than we did before. The 9-0s smart though.

Ironically, the biggest issue isnt people being 'cancelled' it's that these opinions aren't being cancelled quickly enough. Le Tiss's views are incredibly stupid, completely illogical and in many cases just plain despicable. In the past these sorts of views wouldn't have reached the surface, nowadays they're getting adopted and there is such a degree of support it emboldens even the most ridiculous of claims. He genuinely needs help to snap out of this.

What do you think has happened to freedom of speech? Has it been restricted in any way?
-
Unlike the other 9-0s, no early sending off and pretty much our first choice defence, this is horrendous.
