Noone should be booked for wearing a political symbol, that's just blatantly ridiculous. Maybe a fine, but don't change the rules of football for political reasons (I suspect the "don't bring politics in to football" brigade will disagree with me on this for some reason).

Quite a shift from Trussecnomics
-
Last year of his contract isn't he? I assume there is interest to renew but you'd want to see a few more performances like yesterday before you do.
-
As bad as we seem to be, we're in good company. So many teams in trouble.
-
The way he made space for himself in a dangerous position was very impressive, definitely something about him. Must be hard a being a winger in this team though, without a real threat ahead of you to aim for.
-
I can only assume it wasn't 'Var-ed' as the foul throw wasn't considered part of the period of play the goal was scored in as we'd lost possession in the meantime. Lucky though.

Any streams?

This! It's utterly bonkers. Either go a midfield 3 or a back 3, something to provide some level of protection.

Has anyone mentioned Elias? Came to us as an 'underachiever', destoryed Newcastle and I thought we'd pulled off an incredible signing, faded off almost immediatly.
-
Dalot is very good tbf, as he's shown recently. Issue is he spent most of his career playing for OGS.

I do think it's been a generally positive period as he inherited a side that was destined for relegation and kept up fairly comfortably in the premier league with next to no resources. It does feel like things have been generally declining since that second 9-0 though. The one thing that I wont understand about this era is the complete failure, at any point, to have more than one defensive midfielder. We found it when Romeu would get injured we'd be fucked, and now Lavia is injured we're fucked. Ralph ball is so dependant on having an out and out DM and yet we seem to have constantly walked the tight rope on it.

Could definitely see Boris coming back. Truss wont last and I can't see many Tories fancying picking up this bin fire.
-
Sums it up. Not a holding midfielder, but we play him as one.
-
Yep. Midfield have been abysmal today.
-
Complete lack of any intensity
-
This is bordering on match fixing
-
Our midfield has been absolutely shocking tonight.
-
KWP would make a lot of sense, guaranteed starter, good professional, club will want to incentivise him for a long stay and he shares the "son in Law" character of our captain.
-
The signing of Aubameyang seemed very much a "whatever you want Tuchel" signing, so yeah, feels very odd to now sack him.
-
Salisu still hasn't signed a contract right? Maybe they think he'll be off in the next year and ABK and CC are the future.
-
Would make it a very strange move from his perspective, unless he's confident he can break through.

Duje Caleta-Car... You're a superstar... Duje Caleta-Car... You hate Pompey? Yah?
-
Surely we need a striker? Goalscoring wingers are great, but you can see how much value Adams brings. What do we do when he's injured or we have to rotate?
