  1. Kits looks great. As others have said such a shame we have a gambling sponsor, does sour the whole thing.
  2. I genuinely don't understand the logic behind being opposed to tactical voting. We have FPTP, it's literally the right thing to do.
  3. I think he would be good in a 3 alongside a couple of more 'conventional' CBs, but he's too much of a liability in a back 2 without serious improvement.
  4. Just bizzare. All 5 of those "benefits" are quite obviously worst under an unchecked Tory government. "end austerity.." the thing our government initiatives. "stop the attacks on the NHS..." and entirely domestic policy. "end attacks on our workers rights..." christ.
  5. Tbf, Strachan was all about "useful" players rather than players with a broad range of skill. Shows that Telfer, Delap, Tessem etc. all did better than Svensson despite being far less talented. Not that I'm complaining.
  6. Having a back central 3 of Bazunu, Salisu and ABK is very exciting as they all clearly have high potential. Would be very nervous going with it this season without more experienced options just in case.
  7. I generally thought that Salisu was better when he was the deeper of the two, watching runners and using his pace to snuf out attacks rather than a front foot head-to-the-ball type. Two of them could be our new Svensson and Lundekvam.
  8. Great name.
  9. Because it's entertaining.
  10. At this point, who can blame him. He's obviously talking complete and utter, baseless garbage, but once you've done that long enough there's no going back so you might as well embrace it.
  11. Also, if Newcastle actually wanted him and were determined to get him they would pay us an absolute fortune to the point I don't think it will be a bad thing.
  12. We're crying out for a 3 man midfield as we currently have Diallo, JWP and Armstrong (S) who would all really suit it. We have no #10s or strikers that particularly suit the box front 4. If we sign another advanced CM type then it would be bizarre to carry on with the 4-2-2-2. There's also a chance that some of our ineffective attackers might come to life in a front three.
  13. Wouldn't be six people though would it? I assume each refugee fight will require quite an entourage of government officials?
  14. Whilst I accept McCarthy's limitations and don't want him as first choice, he was our POTS in the 2017/18 season so surely better than Stekelenberg? My memory has Boruc as absolutely brilliant, partly because he was excellent under Poch and partly because he was such a magnificent upgrade on Davis.
  15. Economy actually contracted in April. A bitter blow for the "yeah but imagine labour in power" crowd. Sunak will go down as one of the worst chancellors in history.
  16. 100% on Benrahma, would be chuffed with that. The main issue with Minamino, as we saw when he was here, is that he's not an attacking midfield who can play the 10, he's a forward perfectly suited to a front 3.
  17. When you think about it in the context of other 17 million pound transfers it's not that mad.
  18. Dont people also buy these machines because 1. it's fun and 2. it feels a bit less alchy than tearing through cans?
  19. Would be quite something, he has the most loyal (sycophantic) cabinet I think I've ever seen. I can only imagine there will be resignations if someone (Truss) thinks they can take his job.
  20. Oof. The media control this country, if he's losing them, he's done.
  21. Surprised there's no talk of Bale going to play in Qatar. Make loads of money, get familiar with the surroundings and play loads of golf whilst scoring 5 goals a game to keep confidence up.
  22. Hunt would be one of the few Tory options that would make Starmer look jazzy.
  23. Quite. He was absolutely brilliant under Hughes, seemed bizarre that we sold him at the time.
  24. Quite. The fact people like Leadsome have turned on him suggests to me that there must be an alternative lined up. The main limiting factor is if the Tories already consider the next election a likely loss, it might put off potential candidates.
  25. But what is the arguement here? Assuming she used a handgun then it shows that handguns are suitable, not military rifles. Obviously America is a long way from sanity, but the immediate argument is about stopping people from being able to purchage semi-automatic rifles, not handguns.
