Slight aside (sorry if mentioned), but Jackson looked excellent for Chelsea yesterday, clearly going to be a top striker. At least it shows our scouts had some ide in January.
-
Will he be competing with Charles then? To play alongside Smallbone. Or will it be 2 of 3?
-
Would love it!
-
One of the most popular West Ham accounts
-
The main argument in favour of him playing in midfield is it means he's further away from his own goal
-
Sorry if covered before but seen rumours Chelsea have a 40% sell on, so almost half of that will end up back in London.
-
Agreed, but with his flexibility he'd be a great squad player for a mid table PL team even when his forms a bit flat.
-
Has there been many rumours regarding KWP? He's clearly a decent PL level player but I haven't actually seen any solid interest.
-
Hopefully our scouting team are putting all their effort in to finding another CB with the surname Shock.
-
I think the sums up the quality of the other players in our squad tbf
-
If we want a pure destroyer in the championship, will struggle to do better than Choudhury.
-
Salisu could be a superb player, just a case of how much he wants it imo.
-
Very high potential tbf, bit hit and miss but if he hits his ceiling could be a top player.
-
The elephant in the room is that Tella is much more valuable in the championship than the Premier League as that's currently his level. Burnley aren't going to throw money at him and it's clearly hugely valuable to us to keep him. Reckon he stays.
-
It's been 6 years since we had a manager who cared about possession so it's no surprise we have players who aren't particularly suited to it.

Romeo Lavia - Official: Signs for Not Liverpool

Charles, Lavia, Alcarez 🤤 -
He's good as a partner to a better striker. Him and Ings together were excellent. As the main #9 he's not good enough.
-
McNeil had proven himself in the premier league more than Tella has. Reality is for a 24 year old player who's had one great season in the championship, £20 million would be overpriced by 3/4 million.
-
Any idea why he went for Northern Ireland so early on? No disrespect, but the guys Mancunian and clearly has the potential to play for England at some point.
-
Good appointment on the face of it, did well with Watford before the inevitable.
-
At one point, about 2 and a bit years ago, he looked like a world beater. Also had his moments at City. But clearly has struggled to perform consistantly.
-
If we had 2002/03 Niemi in goal we might have stayed up
-
Good - not many players I've been more disappointed with, absolute dross.
-
I remember thinking that he seemed to be continuously unlucky, we'd often play quite well but never win. But after a while I realised it had nothing to do with luck - he just had no idea how to win games of football at that level.
