It must be a squad mentality thing. Need a leader bought in January.
-
Double jeopardy though right?
-
It should be a penalty. Is it clear cut to be an error though.
-
Ralph has to go ffs.
-
Embarrassing.
-
And Lanzini. Argh.
-
Christ that was awful. Very lucky to get away with it.
-
JWP needs taken off corners. So predictable.
-
Walcott has to come off
-
Well that's absolutely insane.
-
Why are people turning up to A&E with no significant symptoms?
-
I just hope it's him up front and Redmon wide. I think all Walcott has left is a desire to get in the box.
-
Not for me clive.

I get the impression Armstrong is the only #10 we have who actively wants to try and score. Our other #10s are all a bit too unselfish/safe with the ball.
-
Indeed. One of the main issue is it often "feels" better so you run on it again and it goes again. Horrible injury. Mine only full recovered when I gave up exercise (prioritised supporting the hospitality industry) for a good 6 months.
-
I think that's the point though. JWP's corners are very good for strong header-ers to attack around the 12 yard box or at the near post. We don't have any strong header-ers so we shouldn't be taking those sorts of corners. Either play it short - which works quite well with Tella's quick feet or try some sort of routine like a flick on or something.
-
Apparently Ghana already have a long throw specialist, doesnt feel needed.
-
We were checked in the boxes. Biggest issue was people weren't ready and ended up waiting ages for their covid passes to load.
-
He saved one at his near post, which was nice.
-
Yep, annoying but it makes sense.
-
Wouldn't be surprised to see either 1. A Gap in the season or 2. The season pushed out a couple of weeks and a couple of rounds of "make up fixtures" at some point.
-
Our defence is definitely better than last season but our attack is definitely worse. I'd say net, we're marginally better than the disasterclass of the second half of last season.
-
Our tactics are incredibly predictable - which is the problem with having a playbook. Also, that the centre of our team is flat, now JV has gone and JWP has lost what mojo he had there is very little breaking of the lines in the middle, which is a problem. We also desperately miss Stuart Armstrong who offered a bit of spontaneity (and quality).

The United Kingdom and the Death of Boris Johnson as we know it.
Jeremy Corbyn replied to CB Fry's topic in The Lounge
I think the worry the Tories will have is whether they'd actually be more electable without Boris or not. The man's an ejit and clearly damaged the party, but he's also fiercely popular with the brexiteers and young people who unironically use the word "banter". If he goes they'll lose a lot of that support and might not make it up in different ways. They might feel that if they can get their ship in order and Boris can pull together a semi-competent six months, he's still their best bet. -
To be fair, we have no aerial threat anymore so his set pieces were always going to drop off in effectiveness. Completely agree he could do with a break.
