I know someone in the academy coaching team who says we're "talking" to Wilshere about a pay as you play deal. But a long way off and "very unlikely". Sounds like we're just sounding out options.

Livramento will be even better once his stamina improves, which it will.
-
Our general play between the defence to the attack is pretty good but my word the garbage once we get it in the final 3rd.
-
Redmond will change the game, assist for Moi incoming.
-
The guy literally played a handful of games and only when other center mids were injured 😂
-
Indeed. Hes just a brilliant "fox in the box" player these days, but credit to him for adapting. He'd have rotated well with Che and Adam though.
-
Fair to say it doesn't look good.
-
Why would what happened in 'stan lead to the death of democracy.
-
It's just so selfish. I guess at the end of the day we're born selfish and learn not to be, and some people just don't learn it even at the most basic level.

I think Armstrong is pretty good at CM and makes us a much more exciting side through the middle. The problem is playing in a 2, he's too attacking and we get overrun, he'd be great in a 3.
-
Theo was excellent for the first third of last season. Not saying the contract was a smart choice but saying he was rubbish from the start is nonsense.
-
This is quite the position to take.
-
Ah yeah, fair. They went through a spell of buying loads of number 10s for big money and now they have no money and the number 10s have either lost all ability, left the club for nothing or [allegation deleted].

Everton are in a bit of a situation by the sounds of it. Even compared to us they've spent badly/inefficiently over the last few years and it sounds like are going to have to scrimp a bit to make up for it. Do they even have any crown jewels?
-
He had a very good loan at Everton, after Stoke, and has played 150 odd times for Chelsea. He's proven and only 26.
-
Fair play to WHam. He's a very good player, maybe not Champions League good but will strengthen them.
-
It wasn't their reserves, it was the Newport first team but they'd rotated in some reserve players.
-
His performance against us a couple of years ago was mad, barely played for years either side but turned in to prime Pele and destroyed us.
-
Unsurprisingly the biggest correlation was education.
-
Agree with that, with lots to come off the bench.
-
I'd say it's pretty clear he's a very good player. He'll be pushing the Che & A pretty soonid have thought.
-
Agreed, I always thought he looked alright when he played but it was obvious those at the club didn't rate him early on.
-
No problem with AM being Southampton's long term number 2 and I assume FF has said definitively he wont sign a new contract under any circumstances. However, hopefully FF and the club are still on good terms as AM is a pretty poor number 1 and at the very least we need some decent competition this season.

Littering is one of the most baffling human behaviours. Who gets up to leave, sees their empty crisp packet or 4 pack and just walks off?
-
I think he'll suit having a left back next to him who pushes up the pitch more and allows him to cut in. I've always felt his strongest "zone" is hovering centrally about 30 yards out where his flair and creativity can make things happen.
