The new Neil Moss.

Been much better than Theo that's for sure. He and Perraud seem to work well together, I'd persist with him for the time being.
-
Was always going to a risky appointment, especially without Eze who's probably they're best playmaker these days.
-
Looks like a "rumour auto generation" account. Will be Messi off to Torquay next.
-
We must be "looking" for another goalkeeper, it's by far our weakest position. Whether we're looking particularly hard or can actually afford to spend any real money is a different question.
-
Can imagine the success a lot of young players have had by leaving for first team football will have given others a nudge.
-
If we can get our defence to play with any consistency then I think we should be fine. We have more about us than the 6 who have lower odds than us but we must be one of the most erratic teams in premier league history so who knows.
-
I don't think there is anything necessarily wrong with zonal marking and it is far less restrictive than person-to-person marking if done well. The issue is that our defenders are positionally pretty poor which means they often leave gaps or channels that attackers can easily move in to. One thing I will say, is that our back 4 is 100% different to the one that played most of last season so it's fair enough that there is a bit of adjustment time.
-
100%. Not having a proper defensive midfielder for most of the second half of last season made a huge difference, can't believe there is a good chance we wont be bringing in another.
-
Clearly a good player for squad depth as he can play in two much needed positions and offers different strengths to our other CBs. Can't imagine he'll be first choice though.
-
How have people not worked out how baseless whataboutery is by now? Doing loads of great things and one thing that's morally dubious is better than doing no good things.
-
Don't want to lose him but £50 million for a free kick specialist is a load of money.
-
Wouldn't be a terrible buy if that 10 million includes appearance fees and such.
-
Some of us have won multiple leagues in multiple countries.

Carl was excellent, built strong contacts and also put lots of effort in to his analysis. For his article on Salisu he went in to great depth about his background in Ghana and his stats in La Liga. Unfortunately with Sheldon every article feels like "oh shit I need to write something in the next half an hour". Carl also engaged with the fans and seemed a lot more interested in general with what was going on.

The Southgate approach.

Not by the counter terrorism units/police, obviously certain parts of the media and population would have called it as such.
-
Yeah, good point, it feels very similar to Hungerford in nature. I expect the number of young men who feel isolated and hopeless is probably higher now but gun laws are stricter balancing it out somewhat. There's been a significant rise in Incel driven attacks over the last decade globally (the US and Japan being the obvious examples), some of which could easily be defined as terrorism (far more organised than this).
-
I agree with you on this. Manchester was terrorism and there was a political aim to cause fear and anguish within "the enemy". The trouble with an incident like Plymouth is it's not really terrorism but has some of the ingredients of terrorism (extreme ideology/brainwashing) whilst lacking others (organisation/politically relevant targets). In some ways this sort of attack is less predictable which makes it scary in it's own way. With the rise of Incel culture and the deepening damage being dished out by social media and forum culture, this sort of random event will likely become more common. Thank god we have strict gun laws.

You're right. But the whole situation, assuming we essentially pull the rug, just smacks of a lack of morality. My only hope is that during the ongoing discussions that America makes it clear that if the Taliban act badly that they'll fuck 'em up.
-
Yeah, cheers. I guess we've seen that when an army realises they can't compete they just withdraw pretty quickly, can't imagine you'd want to end up suffering defeat deep in Taliban territory.
-
No, but do you think the US have just come to accept the Taliban were always going to take back over or they were expecting the Afghan government/military to be able to defend more than they have?
-
What a sad, sad situation. Does anyone understand whether 1. America underestimated the Taliban and thought they'd be ok to withdraw or 2. They knew this was going to happen and didn't care/thought it would happen eventually anyway.

Does anyone know why Ralph doesnt make subs? It backfires constantly so I assume it's some sort of mental block.
