What's worst, the apparent double standards of people who care about one thing but don't mention 'every' other injustice in the world. Or people who pretend to care about something they don't?
-
Where would the other £25 come from?
-
Redmond was excellent against Newcastle, expect him to come in for Djenepo with Moi on the other side, otherwise unchanged. Antonio suffered a moral destroying 3-0 defeat to Panama this weekend so I think that'll turn things - 3-0 Saints.
-
When I was at uni, before I knew what I was doing, I would write essays by essentially writing out 20 odd points and then turning each of them in to paragraphs - it was shit - this seems to be the approach being used in these Athletics "articles".
-
You suggested I was upset about something, what do you think I am/was upset about?
-
Who's got upset about what?
-
I think that article might be the end of my athletic subscription. Just garbage.

Carl Anka - Summer 2017 contender for worst transfer window
Jeremy Corbyn replied to Saint86's topic in The Saints
Gabbi's a tricky one. Clearly had an amazing first couple of months and the Swansea goal, but also cost a bomb and barely did anything else - that said probably safe to consider him reasonable for that Swansea goal and Wembley alone. -
His time here has been weird, a mix of brilliance and absurdity. I'm torn between thinking he's performed miracles considering the strength of the squads we've had and that he's just a maniac who plays such raucous football that sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't.

This is where the Athletic has really dropped off. When Salisu signed last year we got an in depth article about his background, his strengths and everything about him. This year, nothing.

Carl Anka - Summer 2017 contender for worst transfer window

2018 included loaning Ings, who was useful in his first season if not spectacular. Him plus Armstrong is decent £47.5 million on the rest though - especially before JVs purple patch last year, is almost as bad as 2017. -
Fair assessment. On the off chance Lyanco is actually a hit then our back 4 is looking very strong.

Michael Obafemi - Official: Signs for Swansea
Jeremy Corbyn replied to SuperSAINT's topic in The Saints
Him and Che were brilliant that day, lead a really good backs against the wall effort. -
Absolutely, he was brilliant during that relegation battle and I was gutted to see him go. He was a brilliant player but had to be played as a forward in a front 2 or 3 as he was pure attack, don't think he would have worked as one of our current #10s.

Makes you wonder if we have a specific keeper in mind who's available next summer. Madness otherwise.

Michael Obafemi - Official: Signs for Swansea

Surely there must be a buy back/% sell on. -
Ah, the choppers must have been going the other way!

Couple of helicopters hovering just north west of Southampton, so would likely be from the South West or Wales. Safe to assume the late capture of Jefferson Lerma!
-
The once highly sought after Saido Berahino has joined League One Sheffield Wednesday. He's only 28!
-
Haaland would probably strengthen us, he would complement either Armstrong or Adams. I'd assume he'd be a bit too expensive though?

Semmens has been on Football Manager - "Age...Max...18; Happiness...Is...Unhappy with playing time"
-
Indeed. Seems to have a bit of an attitude problem, sort of feels like once he'd won the league he lost all motivation to keep being good.
-
That means Chelsea are still paying Drinkwater a fortune - what an utter disaster of a signing that was.

Agreed, Salisu is a classy defended, constantly looking about and anticipating danger. Hopefully Lyanco will be the Svensson to Salisu's Lundekvam.
