For anyone interested whilst waiting for our game; Newcastle v Arsenal. Theo scored after 1m 9secs. Foreign commentary but good stream: http://tequierocali.net/canal1.html

Just checked and there are a number of really good streams for our game today. I will check through them all just prior to kick off & post the sharpest, clearest one here, on this thread.

Le Tissier Snubbed ticket for United game ?
.comsaint replied to Saint Garrett's topic in The Saints
Le Tiss WAS and IS a legend in the true sense of the word. If he wanted 50 free tickets for the game ffs - he should have been given them. End of. -
Yeah. Let's sell the promising future of the club whilst scrapping hard to get out of this godforsaken division cos we don't really need them at this moment in time . . .
-
Not the end of the world against a side in very good form indeed. You can't win them all - no matter who you are! Hopefully a new face or two will join the squad this week to help ease our injury worries. Still up there with the best of them. And we have nobody to fear in this division. Nobody.

Saints vs Manchester Utd - 4th Round FA Cup Draw
.comsaint replied to saint_bert's topic in The Saints
It's a great draw for us. It's Manchester United ffs! It doesn't get any higher profile than that! The stadium will be a complete sell-out - meaning a lot of extra £££££££'s. It will be live on telly - meaning a lot of extra £££££££'s. But most of all - it'll be a great day out for us in a game we won't (lets be honest) be expected to win - so why not have a great day out - win, lose or draw. STID. -

Barnard sounds like he's gonna need an op at the end of the season on that troublesome groin.

Kelvin you bloody hero!!! If that had gone in - plenty on here tonight would now be ****ing blood from a slashed wrist. Cracking save. Yes we should have scored at least once tonight - and probably twice - and had a penalty. But we didn't. You have to win your home games it's true - but Brighton aren't top for no reason & so - with hindsight - a point was acceptable bearing in mind Kelvin's superb save from their spotkick & how other results went.

I think Adkins has done a good job so far & gets my vote to carry on as he is. And that has got nothing to do with today's 4-1 win over The Posh. I think last week NA messed up with a very negative formation at Carlisle . . . and he knows it if he's honest with himself. We are a 4-4-2 side without any doubt. We have the firepower within the squad to win games - even if we concede a goal or two. Attack is indeed the best form of defence. Our current form is good but we must keep it going (or improve even). Adkins has only been here 10 minutes & as someone else said above; it will take time to get his ideas & playing style over to each & everyone in the squad. And (of course) we all hope that where we're lacking on the field, Mr Cortese will finance an addition or two come January. But yeah - as of tonight - I am pretty pleased indeed with Nigel Adkins thus far - and long may he continue. It's still only mid-November & a long way to go yet until May's finishing line. A win over the Seagulls on tuesday will only increase my admiration for Mr Adkins still further!

Saints V Carlisle - half time and second half thread

Lallana will score any second now & set up a grandstand finish! -
Unless of course we end up winning 3-2 . . .
-
Imagine what we're capable of doing when we're finally firing on ALL cylinders then!
-
Who'd have thought it at half time eh? Great result - with Lallana's goal the icing on the cake. Keep it up lads. Superb!!!

Hammond you ****-muncher. ffs . . .

Finished it in about 5 hours at the most on normal mode. Excellent graphics. Good game but too short. Enjoyed it.
