A very good mate of mine (long distance lorry driver) is a massive Coventry City fan - born & bred. He's been following them for 40-odd years too. We've had lots in common over the years - our ups & downs with our respective clubs - and I've always likened Saints & Coventry as clubs 'seperated at birth'! I'm actually gutted for him. Not just because of their relegation - but because their financial position looks very bleak indeed for the future. Saturday is nothing other than a huge cup final to us - a one-off massive game. Strangely - it's bigger than the Champions League final for us - financially wise - and only Coventry stand in our way... ... not Barca or Man United or AC Milan! A lot of our current players handled Wembley well in the JPT final. I know back then was a world away from the level we're at today - but I feel confident that we will do what's required - by beating Coventry fairly comfortably in the end & we can all have a great weekend and look forward to a big adventure next season.

Garbage. Apart from the goal and a spell at the start of the 2nd half - we were bollix. We all should be celebrating tonight - not hoping/relying on Nigel Pearson & his Leicester side to do us a favour - or prey that Coventry are feeling sorry for themselves & have their minds on their summer hols. Brighton have a big say in things if you ask me. Reading home & West Ham away are their next 2 games. Poyet will demand results in both - if only to get them back into the play-off places. We just have to concentrate on winning our own games of course - but a helping hand from Brighton sure wouldn't go amiss!
