I think you've proved my point! There hasn't been any hand wringing from the usual suspects in this thread when innocent Ukrainian children have been killed - and it's been happening for a lot longer than the Gaza conflict. All innocent children deaths are wrong, however, on this board it's clear that some think the deaths of Muslim children are far more noteworthy than others. Unfortunately this is the result of endless virtue signalling.

Happy Micky Fialka 14 year anniversary

I don't think he made it. -
I had that. Mine didn't tear though. It looked perfect on a glass of port before I drank it.

They aren't Muslim children though so no one gives a fuck.

What is demisexual? Does it mean half sexual - maybe slip it in half way and you're done?

Musk must be fuming that they didn't use his AI tool.

You haven't answered the question.

You really are an oddball aren't you? Are you really trying to claim that 'St Mary's' Stadium is not named after "St Mary's" football club word for word? https://www.southamptonfc.com/en/st-marys-fc
-
In summary then, you'd be hard pushed to find a single one named after the team that plays there. That's settled that then.

St Mary's stadium?

Will be appealed and probably overruled?

Nice to see we've posted a profit in excess of £5m. All that buying cheap shit players seems to have paid off. Now to claim the net spend badge again over the summer to really get the money rolling in - the two other clubs will benefit massively.

Jesus wept. Good old Soggy and his binary world. I guess being taken hostage isn't that much of a serious crime.

3 years into the special military operation and people are talking about 'increasing sanctions'. Why haven't these sanctions already been put in place over the last 3 years?
-
Symbolically, gassing thousands of Jews was also not a good idea.

We do things our own way! #traiblazers

Apart from the £5m of SFC money that went on a player from Valenciennes. Plus the players bought with SFC money then immediately 'loaned' to Turkey. Other than that, you're absolutely right.

1. As if they would. 2. They've also received a lot of money into the club. I imagine they care greatly about that.

Maybe they did it intentionally to put America on the right?

Your post starts off by saying we are 'watching the deconstruction of democracy", but then criticises people in Turkey for protesting. Forgive me, but isn't the right to protest a fundamental right in a democracy, whether or not you agree with the message?

Thanks all. I like to remind the wife that 32kg is roughly 9 standard sized babies. I've managed nine of them in about 10 months, she managed 1 in 9 months Looking forward to my first outing on the bike, should have much better stats than a year ago

To be fair, I could understand it last April / May time, but I've lost 5 stone since then!

I had an MRI, Xrays and CT in the last 6 weeks. Each time I was asked if I could be pregnant. It was so obvious those asking thought the questions were absolutely pointless but had to ask to tick the box.

Shouldn't be an issue for us. Current bolier just heats water in the immersion tank (which is big enough for our needs) and heats the radiators as needed. The house is very well insulated, so it should be a case of taking out the boiler and connecting everything to the heat pump. Would also mean I can take out the gas hob (oven is electric anyway), so can do away with the gas supply completely...
-
I've had a (very) brief look at heat pumps as my boiler is getting on for 10 years old now, so will probably start failing soon. When I replaced it, pretty much like for like, it cost me about £1600 all in. I've been trying to find out how much a heat pump would cost but there doesn't seem anywhere that's willing to put a figure on it! The government subsidy of £7500 has been extended to March 2028 so there's plenty of time left to take advantage of that. Does anyone know how much these things cost? Every website just wants to arrange a visit for some sleazy salesperson to come round and talk bollocks for a couple of hours before plucking a figure out of the air - I'd like to know what a 'reasonable' cost is likely to be before I suffer one of these tools in the house, so I can tell them where to go when they come up with a mickey mouse figure. Likewise, anyone got one? Are they any good, do they live up to the hype? Any issues? Plenty of room in the garden for an air source pump for the house and we already have a hot water tank so it seems a pretty straightforward swap!
