The England ladies really do seem streets ahead of the opposition. But I do find it strange that such one sided results like the 8-0 are celebrated with such gusto. If the sport continues in a uncompetitive manner, then it will have a disastrous long term effect. The novelty of watching the Harlem Globe Trotters beat college teams week in week out would soon lose its appeal.

Perhaps they are just anticipating the long arduous season ahead. What with the WC and pending outbreaks of cough, there will be a lot of pressure on some squads.

I think we have four players that we cannot afford to lose. KWP is one of them. That fact his name is mentioned concerns me, because I get the impression he isn't massively happy here.

I like Broja. I also think his career would benefit greatly from another season here. But its going to be down to Chelsea where he goes, because the fee will be inflated. For 30M I can see him not doing well at Everton or Whu. I think they'd be on his back very quickly.
