I think it was the correct decision not to book the player already on a yellow. But he might have sent him off if he hadn't already booked him.

Fair point, he's one of our own so takes priority and will get the crowd excited until we realise his legs have gone.

That was wonderful. I thought our passing was really good and enabled us to take pressure off on many occasions. Such a contrast to midweek. Defence and GK great. Everyone had a brilliant game.

That was my view. The decision not to immediately clear it was the wrong one, and then it became a rushed attempt when the ball wasn't going to run out for a goal kick, resulting in the corner. They still won 3 consecutive balls from the corner to score so it was a team effort on our part I guess.

I propose scrapping the traditional draw. The Friday and Saturday 5th round teams play each other from this stage on, separate to the Sunday and Monday 5th round teams who do the same. Winners meet in the final with the Sunday Mondays getting a head start.

I thought every aspect of his game was good today - saves, kicking, distribution, claiming crosses. He's also clearly a good motivator and teammate, for example today he came a long way from his goal to encourage and support Scienza immediately after his bad miss.

I just watched the end back including two of the worst non free kick awards I've seen. From a distance at the game I thought they were bad. On 97 mins in the corner Azaz gets shoved over and then Edozie literally thrown over! If they'd scored from that.... I thought the ref didn't give us much. I also think that chant is terrible ('you're just a .... with a whistle'), I'm more of a 'the referee's a ......' or even better a simple 'you don't know what you're doing'. Probably my age but it's not a good thing to hear sung with such volume.

On the way home. Great result great support. I thought everyone played their part with special mention for the back four and GK. They had loads of the ball and we didn't panic and were on it all game. Lovely.

I hope we field a strong 1st team based side (sensible avoiding suspensions aside) and Tonda's FA cup mind games aren't in play. The "one or two changes" v Leicester didn't turn out that way. And his comments about going strong and it looking a little different could be interpreted a number of ways. I would not be surprised with lots of changes.

Like you say I think they've left it too late and/or already made the decision not to sell to Saints fans. Maybe there'll be a late announcement but logistically looks unlikely. I guess Fulham decided not to bother, based on their sales, and we either didn't get access to them or made the call ourselves not to buy them all up. I'm sure we could have sold 1000 more. Hopefully a late surprise. I'm sure the ticket office would give you a final answer.

I've heard he's ok to play under the new rules, but I've emailed Fulham to remind them Maik Taylor cannot take the field of play.
