I really like JWP. Every team, especially Saints, need a hardworking midfielder. He would make a big difference in our team- though he can't do everyything on his own!!! His experience and know how, fitness etc would be great. If he came back, I'd expect him to be a leader, by example. Sadly, I suspect he won't be reurning as he'll remain in the premier league and we probably can't afford his wages and a fee in excess of £25million.

When we scored the atmosphere was great… and too quickly they equalised and heads dropped. It’s not surprising. We need a lot of luck to get our season going/ not humiliated!

Don’t blame the players. Recruitment has let us down, particularly a rickie Albert style . We need stronger players and fit ones too. Then we can properly judge the manager. The players we have are just not good enough. Perhaps the new loaner will help…

I’m pleased he’s been recalled. He’s our player and we had the right to do it. He may well strengthen the team and provide a better platform for us to attack. Juric will have been following his loan with interest.

Any rumours of incoming or outgoing?

I don’t get the ‘get out of our club’ brigade attack on our owners. They’ve tried hard, made mistakes, yet got us back to Premier league. We all predicted we’d struggle this year, and we have. We could, and should! Be on more points when you consider the Ipswich and Leicester results and some very harsh VAR decisions. It’s not the owners fault that we gave 10 goals away from playing out from the back, not playing players in their correct position etc. They are at fault for delaying the inevitable managerial change and not finding a striker over the summer. I think they are good owners who have made mistakes and been let down. We should get behind the new manager And hope that we can find a decent striker in January.

I want to know who the new striker will be, let alone the manager.
