What a bunch of giver-uppers! It was a better performance and the team were a little unlucky overall. Saints need a striker- we know that. The team will play better and win. A new striker will bring confidence and once we get the points rolling against Forest, we will see Saints begin to climb the table. Other teams will begin to drop. As supporters we vent our fury, quite rightly sometimes, but now we need to get behind the team, staff and even board. I still believe this season can turn around... but we NEED to buy a striker who can get us some goals quickly.

JWP is not the issue. He is an excellent committed player. The issue is that he can’t do it all. He needs support and the team need a quality striker. Get two good players in and confidence will rise. it must be so frustrating for JWP , and Adam’s, that we missed out on a target striker like Broja. We have to win the midfield and put pressure on opposition defenders…done with a clinical finisher. roll on Jan 1st and let’s hope at least two players come into the club early.

I think you need to give him time and the transfer window. We are not cut adrift, someh players were rusty and clearly some should be replaced. It’s only 10 days to January 1st… let’s hope things are ready to happen!
