Caught the first half and highlights. A Tonda plus has been a starting eleven that allows changes on merit and circumstances. Bree in for Jelert; Welington for Manning for example. Today, and with a previous glimpse, we've finally got a formation to match. Tricky wide midfielder finally gets to play in tricky wide midfield role! And as Fellows provides one outlet, it requires a Stewart type forward in the middle. That keeps defences occupied, allowing for support from Azaz, who has more options in front of him. Meanwhile, Scienza offers tricky runs and direct efforts on the other side. Having had to try and dig us out in early games, Leo is now going to have to let others have the ball now, when they are in much better positions. As we've got more attacking options, Downs and Jander have a little more room. Both had good moments today. At the back THB has done okay, this transfer window. With it closing, hopefully that continues. Lovely through ball. Stephens deserved a nod for the Derby feisty showing. Despite a blooper a game or so, Peretz has looked a better all round keeper. And one who is a lot more vocal and engaged with his defence. A couple of excellent saves today. Stoke allowed space for balls in behind their defences, which suited us. Even so, there was a better balance to our team and play today. The main concern is still competition/ replacement for Stewart. And, unless we're changing the profile of our attack completely, someone to fill an Archer/ Armstrong role should they both go.

... where the boat is sinking, surrounded by sharks, who all have Noravirus, botulism and a legionaires disease. 🙂

Agreed. That's the side and Archer and AA protected ahead of potential moves.

Thanks. I went scurrying off to find a link last night, wondering where my Friday evening football had gone. 🙂

The one on the right is Johannes...

Someone happy not to be here.

What is this "pace" thing of which you speak? 🙂

Although SR's "Sell planes and Land Cruises" approach was different, until the first casualties.

Fortunately, SR's decision making history gives us plenty of comfort they will pick a worthy successor.

I thought we were safe in SOGWorld as he'd decided who shouldn't be allowed to have the vote.

Too many to list. 🙂

SR's response to this, if any, will be interesting. You only have to have watched the games, to have seen the validity of much of that video. A bit of life experience, or seeing other clubs ruined by incompetent chancers supports the rest. Some of those involved have had some punishment, that their jollies involved attending Southampton matches. But when your more concerned with filling your mouth and pockets, maybe that doesn't have the same impact as it has for the rest of us.

If we get in Saggy Bagpuss as transfer consultant, 6 or 7 would be a pre breakfast warm up on (Sky mandated capitals) DEADLINE DAY!

All of them, if we've any luck. 🙂

Ran that through the SR AI for you. 🙂

It can be a painful procedure to undergo as an adult. And sometimes, there can be complications. I can imagine things like running and football to be quite painful...oh ostracised...never mind...

CSDAJFU Would fit into the culture and at 5' 9", would be interchangeable with Archer and Armstrong ? 🙂

Foolishly focusing only on portraying herself as the True Conservative. I heard her say, in regard to Prosper, that what that meant was only her vision of it. Done to try and distinguish her party as the right leaning party. But oops, just pushed the left part of it, and still loosing more to the right. As the article said, it's the broadest church that has the best chance of winning. So, not the brightest there.

Is that just not having to watch Baz in goal for a while? 🙂

As it stands now, getting the current value taking amortisation into account, should be considered. But the club is such a tactical basket case. The next manager we get might well want two up front, with one of them being more of a finisher. So, more like Archer. They have to obtain some knowledge of what they think it's going to take for promotion, and what that squad should be like. But they are more concerned with player trading than coherent team building. There's a nice feeling knowing we can doom other clubs with our player sales. See also Leicester.

It's rubbish being their feeder club. They get all the cool things...like points. 🙂

I wish we could sign someone who is clearly the leader of an alien armada.
