Maybe. But how much possession have they had? How brave have they been and how front footed? There's more important things than old school points. 🙂

Hopefully they can be an inspiration to some of the more struggling clubs in the SR stable, like Saints and VA. 🙂

I was listening for the sound of a bottle being broken against the wall of the tunnel. 🙂

First half we had some signs of structure and purpose going forward. Second half, the energy levels weren't there. Watford shifted their formation, and we couldn;t cope with it. We were light going into this in midfield anyway, with Downes dropping out. We also struggled to match the physical strength and pace that Watford clearly recruit for. Sadly, we didn't really match their stamina either, which I'd really like to see get us over the line in games, rather than allow opponents to look the more likely. Still throwing on forwards made no difference, except make us look more tactically disjointed today. We had noone able to create anything for them. On the plus side we have reinforcements on the way. Hopefully, they will make an immediate difference and we can push to better levels in a system Still prefers.

Still really annoyed with the Watford manager. Went beyond the touchline, with Still waiting for him to say something when they were shaking the refs' hand.

Sure. His bank account is looking really healthy from all the wages and appearance bonuses we give him. Not many clean sheet bonuses though....

Yup. They changed it up, and we failed to adapt. So they are exploiting the midfield and using that to get bags of space behind Manning in particular.
