  1. Good luck, have fun and enjoy it whilst you are young enough! Dont get too obsessed with money/jobs etc - you will meet folk, and find something and have a great time.
  2. This may be what they owe us for the derby ticket's which was possibly not known when teh report was written?
  3. Think thats the biggest indicator of how shafted they really are - by not including PP is the estimated forecasts, is he in effect admiting defeat and liquidation looms? In effect he cannot see the club survive until the next set are due, and I doubt the Pl will want to in effect grant them these early only for it it to dissappear into someones pockets as the club is liquidated anyway? Someone may know more about this than me, but it sounds like Birch knows that even if they were granted a further advance, it would not really help the club at all...
  4. I think it sums it all up in that those fans who would rather beat us than survive/implode - more about ingrained ignorance and hate for us, than supporting and love for tehir own club... based on what? a mythical dockers strike, and a massive inferiority complex. They live in the past spouting about glories and clubs with 'no history' FFS are they that thick - every club has a history, but for those feckwits they seem to have faiuled to realise that they might have no FUTURE.... laughable.
  5. Oatley is fitter than both of them:D
  6. Sorry DP...poyet is a genius until after the West ham game - then he is a cock again... get with the frickin program!
  7. Am sure that pic must have been selected by someone at the News taking the ****... or else they are so frickinstupid up there, they fail to see the comedy gold that they have gifted us - it was almost worth letting them have a point to see that gem of the inbred pikey celebrating like he's just found out from his sister what his cock is for.... For thos every few Skates who I know who have been humble, saddened and embarrassed by their club's recent 'double dip recession' I still have a small ...tiny... miniscule element of sympathy. However, given that the overwhelming majority of the '220,000 bestest fans' (surely it has not escaped their notice that a mere £25 from each of those would provide their £5m?) , seem to have been born without a full set of neurons - indeed I am convinced that in many families they need to let one member have the full family set, just to answer the feckin phone - and simply cannot grasp the nature of their demise, the cause, the 'competitive advantages' gained at the expense of their future, the fact no one is interested in taking on the burden of cleaning the 'fat' from the pipes (what they say it is, but it would not surprize me to discover something more undignified was the cause given how they feel the need to constanty crack one off about 'getting one over the scummers' - yeah 2 draws...). During the last 33 years, 27 in the top flight and then as can happen in football mistakes made led to a downfall, I think its fair to say we took our punishment, accepted that we were wrong, and learned form it. Most fans now feel more comfortable knowing the board watch the purse strings and recognise teh value in infrastructure investment when you have the chance... down the M27, despite being in financial turmoil 5 times since the Brotherhood of Man were Saving their kisses, none of the ignorant few have learned a thing it seems... and for that reason, when the FL do finally have the last laugh, Birch concedes defeat, one thing might make me dilute some of the vitiolic bile I reserve for their club right now... a mere suggestion, with which I make the appeal to their fans.... how about using the monies collected to pay off some of the charities and small creditors that are still owed from last time? Or hav eyou conveniently forgotten about them ....
  8. He's one of the good guys - back in 2004/5 when some of us were organizing a kids game between Pompey fans and Saints fans in aid of a local charity Claridge offered to ref it, Paul Walsh took part, and from our side we had Joe Tess*m etc... were great on the day and happy the saints kids won! He played for Portsmouth so what do folk expect? He's bound to have more of affinity for the skates, yet has been pretty baanced and complimentary about us this season - I met him and good for a bit of banter - nice bloke.
  9. We know the Truth Steve! You are a closet blue phew and the £5 was always a ruse to ensure funding for whne you take them over - now is as good a time as any to execute your devious masterplan as you sit surrpounded by banks of monitors in your subterranean lair
  10. Yep it was about 2 weeks ago I mailed em, after Birch had announced the old CVA was dead - requesting some info on whether the FL had an appropriate punishment for failing to service a CVA and suggesting there had been no consistency of punishment in this case - In addition, I pointed out how the punishmnets they currently have dont seem proportiuonate to the crimes in that you can have a side relegated and starting the next season on -10 for a small overdraft causing admin owing only 2 creditors, versus one that could see a club uneffected by -10 points for 2 admins in 2 years and160mil of debt....
  11. Fair play for taking the time to say that - think 99.9999% of real fans would be disgusted, shame there are always some total **** wits that do this sort of thing
  12. Thing is, I bet there is some now - I suspect the recent loan to equity conversion was timed because we are 'likely' to go up - and if you take off the club purchase price, we have spent 18 mil over 3 years above our revenue (not as much as some for sure, but a fair whack nonetheless). I suspect this is from Markus's 'provision for the club', but I bet NC is keen to speed up the the '5 year plan' to a 3 year one.... top performance form all at the club. Poyet can say what he likes, he knows there will also be pressure on them to, to use the momentum of last year.... we also know he's likely to be off if they dont make teh playoffs or promotion when a lower level prem club have a vacancy....
  13. Just had the same in despite me requesting they dont bother to respond.... 14. But so are boro, and coventry may still be fighting for their lives, so I dont think it will be plain sailing. We wnat it bad enoug, play to our potential we will win the league... simple
  15. Nige has now been in charge for 94 games winning 58, drawing 18, loosing just 18 in all comps. That's a win pecentage o f 61.7%! Have we ever had any one beat that? Ok its not in the top flight, but still impressive If they were all league games it would be a 2.04 per game average... not bad for a physio from scunny
  16. Well we can now no longer finish any lower that 4th... which had you said that at the start of the season, how many would have grabbed it? Top day, and could get better!
  17. Interesting approach given that we have never been below 2nd, we have not exactly come a long way form 17th....
  18. Come on Brum now... they win and we only need 5 points from 4 games to go up... Think 7-9 will be needed to win it though I think
  19. Sir Richard seem sto be doing quite well this afternoon doe he not?
  20. Have 5live Xtra on - whilst cleaning the:blush:..... oven....
  21. Don't be such a cock... you know fine well it was quite different in those times
  22. Are you saying those that went between 1885 and the early 1970s did not have fun?
  23. Is it? What you realy mean is football is for those who thought the glory years were the 70s and 80s? Football was a working mens game for 90 years before such a thing as 'passionate pitch invasions'...
