Was it not a case of bad timing and Rohl messing Saints about? Wednesday were a mess and the then chairman put a ridiculous release fee on Rohl? Who knows.
-
Saw this on reddit. Would potentially swap out Manning / Wellington for Mads. Something along this I think would be decent. Of course it would help if Stewart was fit.
-
Watched plenty of home and away games. I'm just tired of the extremes of the season and I cant raise myself of being confident considering Saints have only beaten 3 of the teams above them in the table as it currently stands. If Saints win, then great!
-
More dross no doubt.
-
When the ladies ask are they pleased to see them, I sadly take out my phablet.
-
The standard size of mobile phones increasing to what used to be the phablet size.
-
Yep, that is definitely another factor. Where is the urgency, fitness etc? All seems like a mess contributing to where Saints are now. The second point agree, said it before the team has reverted to playing it around at the back and hitting it long to Armstrong which were Still's tactics and Russball. I like you, dont get it at all.

Gavin Bazunu - Official: Loaned to Stoke
JohnnyShearer2.0 replied to SuperSAINT's topic in The Saints
Bazunu is rubbish. McCarthy is just as bad. Ramsdale doesn't want to be here. Keeper position is a mess. -
I dont understand how people keep saying Saints have an average squad. Compared to the rest of the division that simply isn't true. If anyone thinks the likes of Hull, Preston or QPR have better players or squads they are deluded. The team and players, club and coaches are massively under performing. And poor choices I.e. manager choice, odd fixation on Bazunu etc have compounded the issues. That's the crux of it.
-
We'll hear about this for the next 100 years. Of how the bestest fans all voluntarily paid millions back to the club for watching the game.
-
I'm not one for conspiracy theories but now I'm thinking these idiots have put a diktat in place to revert back to the shitty possession based game.
-
The goalkeeper and the defence dont make it work. Coaching behind the scenes must be awful.
-
That was rubbish. I don't get how the team can go from one extreme to the other.
-
Hopefully Saints can get back to the team playing forward football and quickly transitions. Not what we've seen for the last 3 games. Hopefully Fellows will back to his best before his injury.
-
I read about that. Good insight on his behalf.

Do you not think these people would have left anyway? -
The Starmer Years - Can The New Broom Sweep Clean?

Cheers mate. Very interesting. I see that the data is up to the end in June in the article. I guess they must have made their minds up with all those years of the Tories and austerity and then Labour smashing in the the regulations in just 11 months. -
Keith Andrews at Brentford doing a decent job. I thought with Frank leaving Brentford would fall apart but Andrews has seemingly slotted in seamlessly.
-
Then that's down to coaching and managing then surely. I've said it before, with the front players Saints have, they should be overwhelming teams. Saints have shown they can't defend and keep making the same mistakes so try and outscore the opposition!
-
I'll leave that to others, there is plenty of quality in the squad for Championship level. Do you not think its a top 5 or 6 squad compared to the rest of the championship?
-
Opposition having multiple players out, never stopped Saints from not taking advantage before!
-
Its bizarre, is no one being coached to be more cynical? He could have used his own brain and just taken out the runner and get a card instead of doing a fifa jostling impression.
-
Dont agree that we do not have a good squad. On paper its one of the best in the Championship. Top 6 easily. Another post mentioned that the backroom coaching is a mess. I wonder if Tonda gets much help? However think it's a mess everywhere. Soft players, with no real leaders on the pitch. Where has the fitness gone? Play 5 at the back, with 3 centre backs, who still cant defend crosses or seemingly know what each one is doing. Seems like a real lack of coaching. Another manager wedded to playing with wingbacks. If it doesn't work Saints concede the midfield too easily.
-
Agree or even Archer just taking out the runner on the half way line. Instead we got Archer doing a fifa impression of jogging alongside him for most of the length of the pitch. A back line of 5 players and Saints still concede a shit load of the same type of goals.
-
Good point, he's not being helped with the coaching behind him. That can't be good.
