I fancy him to assist as he looks good I attack, as always!
  3. Good luck Sadio. On your day you were too hot to handle and obviously that didn't go unnoticed by the bigger fish. I wish you well.
  4. I like the sound of him. Hopefully he'll be well up for the challenge and should get us playing good football. This guy ticks all the boxes for me. Experience of creating winning teams and with fairly unglamorous clubs, just like us. I look forward to the likes of Alan Brazil and Danny Mills telling everyone that we've made a bad decision and are candidates for relegation. Other fans forums will be going "who?". I will love shoving it down all their collective throats once more.

Portugal look leaky at the back. However, Ronnie looks to have found his form. It'll be a good game. 2-2 AET England out on pens. Damn!
  7. Correct. You know your stuff mate.
  8. Correct. Our interest in VVD preceded Koeman by at least 12 months.

He's annoying the crap out of me. His insistance on saying "like I was saying" when he hadn't said anything about the point he went on to talk about.
  10. I'm totally relaxed about Meltdown3. Tbh I was calm about Meltdown2 as well. This is our model. It's working. Please carry on SFC. If anything we've held onto VW one year too long in terms of maximising profit. However, we couldn't lose MS and VW in the same window. Nice little bit of trickle-down going to Celtic too.
  11. Gagging order perhaps.

Being a quarter Italian I have always loved the Italians. Something about their anthem as well that is so much more inspiring than our own dreary ditty. Forza Italia. Forza Graziano.

That "Yeeeeesssssssssssssssssssss" as the second went in was brilliant. Safe to say he's on the lash tonight!!

The bigger picture here is the continuing fragmentation of Europe and the increasing rise of the far right. Worrying times.
  15. This just adds to the comedic value of this entire project. The fact the sculptor, by his very definition a creative person, couldn't see it was sh*t. Absolute poppycock. I'm a creative and I know when something is sh*t and it's got nothing to do with subjectivity. IIRC this guy worked in wood and specialised in birds of prey?? They were quite good if memory serves, he should of known the Bates sculpture had gone severely wrong. My theory is that he had taken on too many commissions and he had to draft his wife, Pamela*, in to help get the contracts finished on time. I imagine him talking her through process in his workshop whilst he cracked on with his peregrine falcon!! She would of known it was sh*t too so I blame Pamela Brennan. *his wife may not be called Pamela.
  16. Good luck Everton, no malice from me. Just drop the 'bigger' club thing, it's futile and a bit immature. Who really cares? I've seen plenty of contributors here stating you are a bigger club, I hope your superiority complex has been appeased? Saints have carved out a nice niche and the model is all about recruitment and organisation. Like any large organisation our strength comes from our planning and strategic development. We are sustainable and living well within our means, just like our owner promised. We've a lot to feel proud about. I'm totally comfortable with our progression and setup. Never in my lifetime have we bloodied the noses of so many 'big clubs'. Long may that continue. Loyalty??? Who cares about loyalty anymore? I've always said, I only want people at the club who want to be there, maximising our potential. Good luck Ronald, thanks for your hard work. Now let's appoint someone with a point to prove and take us a place higher again. These are great times fellow Saints, make no mistake about that.

    Sir Les Reed

    ****ing mongrel you ****s
  18. Good point. Well made.
  19. I'm not au fait with money matters but the little snippet about Spurs' owners ENIC being based in the (tax haven) Bahamas irked me a little. I'm not sure if it means they are cheating or being clever (possibly both I imagine) but it's another reason to loath them at least.
  20. Well I'm chuffed! Mrs is United through and through, born here, lives here. Perfect result. Saints into group stages, I'm on a banker tonight!!! Get the f*** in boys.
  21. Pleased for him if it proves the winner
  22. A bit gutted for Puncheon. Hope he has an effect on the game. Nice lad who matured and sorted his personal problems.
  23. New two year deal. However, he'll join Arsenal next summer and we'll get circa £5m compo.
  24. So in a nutshell I need to be cheering for the Cherries tonight, United on Saturday and a Brucey Bonus of Sevilla tomorrow night yeah???
  25. #ItsHappening I've dreamed of the day we were ever in this position. A position where our best players see their future at Saints!! These are indeed great times fellow Saints. I'm putting all cynicism aside for now. Life's too short and I'm beginning to think anything is possible given Leicester's monumentus achievement.
