    Charlton Fans

Seemed to be Pardew they have a problem with on that thread, rather than us? I don't particularly care for them, but that's mainly because of their attempts to expand their catchment area into North/Central Kent with cheap coaches etc., which takes business away from non-league clubs. There's a score of clubs above them in the ol' hate list though But have to admit it was dead funny last season after the home game, when a load of them came out of the ground thoroughly underestimating just how ****ed off everyone was!
  2. I only knew him to say hello to, seemed a nice chap though. My bro generally shouts abuse at the screen when that ad comes on though, think he might be jealous of his notoriety
  3. His name's Ben Francis, he was in my brother's class at school. True story.
  4. I read all of them for my job. The Indy and Times are the best all-round papers, the Grauniad is the funniest but too poncey and vegan-y. The Torygraph is for rich people who aren't aware of the existence of anyone earning under 100K a year, the Mirror is for people who are thick but not filled with hate, and all the rest are just fash rubbish. The Morning Star has some surprisingly good articles when it's not being too commie. Private Eye's very good in small doses, but I find it a bit tiresome if I read it too much - you end up thinking "Well that's very funny, but how about getting an opinion of your own?"
  5. Rite of passage for any young man born in the 1980s, I thought. Was for me, anyway
  6. Sounds crazy, but diluted toilet cleaner (one part loo cleaner, nine parts water) is very good for greenfly.
  7. Maybe they should, then they'd get better housing and pensions and whatnot when they came out.
  8. Guy's a f*cking wrong'un. Say what you like about the English but he wouldn't have made restaurant manager at McDonald's over here, let alone Prime Minister. Sly, greasy, Mussolini-looking motherf*cker.
  9. Why are the sexiest women always pure evil?
  10. Word. Very glad that Son of Bob's put a sticky up detailing only the gist of what's happening; got so sick of trawling through walls of text from the same old bickering w*nkers that I gave up a couple of weeks ago.

    Hypocrisy?

Don't worry, I feel kind of sorry for you after reading the above crap.

    Hypocrisy?

Actually he's quite well thought of on the international stage, due to his prompt action in saving the banking system and the G20 exceeding expectations. But yeah, at home he's the very image of a lame duck, which is what counts after all.
  13. I remember seeing ads for them comparatively recently. Never had them, though. Another cherished but sadly discontinued foodstuff are Lincoln creams http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lincoln_biscuit
  14. Good times. The Forest fans on the other side of the gate just looked baffled
  15. Some deluded morons amongst a fanbase comprising tens of thousands of people, eh? Well that obviously makes them unique
  16. Can't really understand this Newcastle-hating bandwagon myself, the fans I've actually met over the years (as opposed to the gomels you see/hear on 606 or Sky Sports News) have been knowledgeable, pleasant people. Like Sambosa says, judge on what you've actually seen, rather than what the set-'em-up knock-'em-down media shows you.
  17. Saints had better get their act together next season, because losing to the f*cking Pikeys would be unendurable for me
  18. Was in the 'wall end today. Great day out, good atmos and game, messed up by the team I'm supporting f*cking losing as always fair play to scunny though, they were the better side.
  19. I don't particularly care for Spurs, but there's easily a dozen clubs I dislike more, and most people are the same as far as I know. And our nearest rivals are now Bournemouth
  20. YES! MILLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL... thinking of jumping on the bandwagon and going to Wembley with my unc.
  21. Improved my dreary Saturday night at work, that did And yo, Bognor - I would direct your attention to Dennis Skinner, one of the few MPs left at Westminster who is a genuine socialist, who claimed the second least in allowances in the country.
  22. Caroline Flint as well, she was one of the few to come out of this well by insisting on paying capital gains tax when she sold her house I believe.
  23. Best looking girl I ever saw was from one of the western islands, Skye I think. Srsly.
  24. Must speak up for Lincoln. Nice cathedral and nice town/people, in my experience.
  25. Oh, f*cking socialist party my arse. Didn't you see the Institute of Fiscal Studies survey out today, showing that social inequality is at its highest since 1961? If they're a bunch of commies, they're certainly not doing a very good job. I agree with them all being professional politician c*nts, though.
