Hulk Hogan?

If I was speaking to my old man about Saints and said something about "AOC" I doubt he'd know what I was talking about. What with the ability to say Chamberlain being the same number of syllables and the reality that coming on Saintsweb often doesn't reflect actual Saints opinion/talk in the real world.
-
People referring to our own fans as "plastic" is pretty zzz for me. The atmosphere wasn't the best when we played them last time because of what happened on the pitch not because of who was in the stands.
-
I'd probably have been questioning it on Tuesday when he came out with this interview: http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/teams/b/bournemouth/9357904.stm Interviewer: What was the one factor that has kept you at this football club? Howe: I'd say the players, the players here. Sure someone boos at that point as well! Yep very careful not to gush about the club or the fans. Still parachute payments in effect, pretty good squad and a fanbase without massively high expectations. I'd say Burnley is a pretty wise move for him.

A bit of bad news were the words used. I'd consider Lallana being out for six months more than a bit of bad news. For that reason i believe you lot have got the wrong end of the stick.
-
No. They're doing all their work through the newspapers. Fortunately as of yet it doesn't appear to be effecting his performances.

Hope it stops at some point...I need a p:ss...

Perpetual motion bus is it then?

Do you ever feel sorry for the opposition..?
Scudamore replied to david in sweden's topic in The Saints
I only ever feel sorry for Wayne Bridge... -
He's like that most mornings to be fair...
-
I'd be happy enough to alternate between the two... So add it to the poll and i'll vote...

Isn't it strange how five wins on the bounce can turn these interviews from being annoying and not media savvy into loveable Adkinisms?! I like it when he starts a sentence with "listen" because it makes me listen a little bit more intently...
-
Yes but we're looking beyond just going up here aren't we? And maintaining a squad is a constant work in progress. It's not all about the here and now...
-
I understand Dubai Phil is in talks with Eddie Mitchell...
-
Luck will only take you so far Nick! Oh and in fairness to Howe he seems like quite a dignified, quiet chap. I'm sure he's done everything the right way. Mitchell on the other hand...well you can't buy class...

If i were a football chairman and i had the choice of speaking to a good young manager or the same old bunch of turd on the manager merry go round (Peter Reid anyone?) i'd take the chance that i could persuade him to join my club at the risk of looking like a numpty. Which by the way i don't really think he has made them look like numpties at all. Mitchell obviously is a fool who is encouraging the only decent thing to happen to Bournemouth in the last ten years to speak to other clubs. Howe however is obviously not a fool. He knows he can play the waiting game...hopefully secure a second promotion and then really have some bargaining power when it comes to his next move. So he's had an interview...and then rejected the offer after some thought. It's hardly the ultimate disrespect.
-
Why? If a decent job comes up he'll take it. And if he does gain back to back promotions a decent job will come along. Don't blame him at all. He'd be on a hiding to nothing at both those clubs.
-
He would have been disappointed if he was here to watch Puncheon...he was at Millwall at the time! Don't think he'll leave until the summer myself. If he has any sense and is being advised properly he'll see he can gain both a league winners medal and the move he wants.
-
Football manager and a job for life aren't two things I'd generally put together. Still if I were him I'd hold out til the end of the season. He's got a chance at back to back promotions.
-
F::cking brilliant news! I'd also like to say a thank you to Pardew. Remember him saying last year how he'd sat Lallana down and said to him about how would you like to look back on your career? Would you like to win some medals and have those memories or just bumble through it and earn some big money. I'm sure that had a part to play. Either way this is brilliant, brilliant news and a real shot in the arm for us all. Stick that up your arse doubters!

Gave them a call earlier and was told there would be a bus service replacing the train. On that basis i'm out. But it wouldn't surprise me if he's talking out his a::se. Not worth the hassle though. I only opt to train it so i can have a few extra beers anyway.
-
Bus service from Bournemouth? F::ck that! Looks like i'm driving then...

Can't believe i just wasted half an hour of my life doing this...but there you go. Adkins games and his centre backs. Player on the bench in brackets. League MK Dons - Fonte Seaborne (Jaidi) - L 2-0 League Colchester - Fonte Seaburne (Jaidi) - D 0-0 League Sheffield Wed - Seaborne Jaidi (Martin) W 1-0 League Yeovil Town - Jaidi Seaborne (Martin) - D 1-1 League Bournemouth - Fonte Seaborne (Jaidi) - W 2-0 League Tranmere - Fonte Seaborne (Jaidi) - W 2-0 League Huddersfield - Fonte Seaborne (Jaidi) - L 2-0 League Oldham Athletic - Fonte Seaborne (Jaidi) - W 2-1 League Notts County - Fonte Seaborne (Jaidi) - W 3-1 League Dagenham & Red - Fonte Seaborne (Jaidi) - W 4-0 Fa Cup Shrewsbury - Jaidi Seaborne (Martin) - W 2-0 League Carlisle - Fonte Jaidi (Seaborne) - L 3-2 League Peterborough - Fonte Jaidi (Martin) - W 4-1 League Brighton - Fonte Jaidi (Martin) - D 0-0 Fa Cup Cheltenham - Fonte Jaidi (Martin) - W 3-0 League Brentford - Jaidi Seaborne (Martin) - L 2-0 League Huddersfield - Fonte Jaidi (Seaborne) - W 4-1 League Exeter City - Seaborne Fonte (Jaidi) - W 4-0 League Dagenham & Red - Fonte Jaidi (Seaborne) - W 3-1 Fonte 15 Seabourne 13 Jaidi 10 Make of that what you will. But as far as i am concerned it is far from an open and shut case as Nick would have everyone believe. (God i hope there's no mistakes in there)
-
It does...thank you.
-
Oh yeah. He smashed it with those cold hard facts! Still. Who played against the tough opposition in recent weeks Peterborough, Brighton and Huddersfield...all about Jaidi and Fonte. Presumably "first 11 CB" Seabourne was rested for being too first choice!
