LOL I recommend reading the article in full http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-1243828/Do-men-control-Portsmouth-want-football-club-superstore.html get that champers out iain and get in robinsons digger!

The whites will leave and the blacks will tear themselves apart ... Dune used to cite Rhodesia in these cases. Its a dog world. (is South Africa the only place where people seem content to label and discusss colour so crudely?)
-
Dont sink to their level, Glasgow. Thanks for the head up BTW, means a lot mate.

It wasnt their fault moosh, they merely explicitly endorsed it.. nothing of the bad is allowed to stick, only the cup win stays. Funny to see they are already planning to raise more debt to chuck into the crumbling wreck of the fatpipes, its a black hole! Also interesting that champagne iain mentions that they have to clear the back log of planned maintenence and safety issues just so that the fatpipes are "fully operational". Reading between the lines, just a little bit, suggests they are stuggling to get a safety certificate and they hugely underestimated what an abslute sh*thole fatpipes is, and that there £2-300 a week maintenence budget probably needs to increase to around £20k per week. SHALALA

Im can imagine Mr Chainrai is a teeny bit f*cked off about all this... it was a scam by Robinson all along and he knew it. Fair play to old Robsinson, he has played a good game in siding with the trust and its propaganda machine.. imagine the uproar by factless et al if Chinny tried to sell off all the land in exchange for some new concrete and painted lines with a burger joint dumped on top. If this deal goes through the skates have condemmed themselves to fatpipes for a generation... even if a white night came in with buckets of money, they will be unable to develop the fatpipes... the land is all gone. And fatpipes was used in the court to blackmail the judge, so another location is not on the agenda for the few... ala Moneyfields. This Tesco deal could be the beggining of a whole new era of the pompey takeover saga.

I agree with Tokyo, I think you have hit the nail on the head. That is an excellent idea and one that would kill off both sides of the argument. Scrap all half terms, Xmas and summer breaks for the teachers in exhange for a standard annual leave allowance, some of which can be taken in the summer holidays and some during the year. This is a very common practise in many industries where staff agree to not take leave in certain peak times. This would give teachers weeks on end throughout the summer with a completely empty classroom with no distractions (unlike the home/beach) to do their "report writing, teaching preparation, training, classroom preparation" as BTF says... It would be far more efficient for the school system and you could expect to see the quality of teaching improve as all material has been compiled in a learning environment, not at the pub (I know two teachers who do this LOL), not sat on the sofa drinking wine 1/2 watching TV, not in bed hungover FFS! Surely this would have huge benefit to the teachers, all that down time in the classrooms to do their preperations, not only that, it would gain respect from the public who are getting very tired of the victim mentality of the teaching trade. We are all in this together.

Surely this should have been listed as an asset? Would you really have a painting worth that much money in the boardroom? If so, Chinny probably swiped that years ago. Sweepstake on who nicked the painting? I would place my money on Limpitt, drunk and disgruntled one night towards the end of his reign. If not Chinny, all day long! And if he dosent have it, he’s got a charge on it, all over it, fixed and floating. Absolutely and you would hope the micro industry would support one another in instances of being shafted by 'firms' like pompey. Give it back to the thick cheating skates in its original faulty state, let them hoist it back up at £650, discover it’s not working, spend £650 getting it back down to find the only will repair agent in the south of England who will/can fix it is Genisis 1 Ltd... whose prices have shot up 300% since the last quote and this time its cash up front. Good luck to Genisis 1, its shameful that a newspaper can tarnish a company’s good name like that, damaging its reputation all because it did nothing other than try to help pompey in good faith and got screwed over by them.. it’s disgusting behaviour by the propaganda machine the more I think about it. Someone really needs to teach those DCFSBs a lesson in humility and respect towards others, these c*nts clearly have no shame and I can’t see that c*ckney geezer catlin delivering any lectures on social responsibility anytime soon.

There is no question at all of The9's status as footy shirt nutjob supremo, this thread is an absolute testament to that. I am genuinely blown away by his enthusiasm for kitwear and the research and knowledge that goes with it, the sooner this loon gets a job at a major sportswear manufacturer the better for all of us. FWIW I bought one to wear for that season, one to be framed (must get round to doing that), and one for the future... which will become a proper 'retro' kit.. or I can sell it for a profit on eBay apparently! A sponsorless shirt is timeless IMO, and the sash kit actually had a little bit of style about it compared to most.
-
If there is no sponsor, I retract my original post above, I would by three of them.
-
Last season was the first in at least a decade where I didnt buy a replica shirt, whether to wear out, wear for sport or just to gift the club money.. I do own three copies of the sash kit though, two still sealed. I walked into the club shop once before a game last season, it was jam packed full of people, queues stretching round the shop. I left straight away, im not going to entertain that and I can buy online if I wish. I actually dont really care if we have stripes or not, its not that important to me, though I think we should always stay true to our red, white and black. I might by a polo shirt with an opaque club crest on it for match days this year, so that I still feel a little involved amoungst the shirters. I dont really have a point in all this, other than: • I am growing up and replica kits dont suit the agenda • The club is creaming it in with merchandising sales, instore and online • Stripes are not life or death for me. Sorry The9, footy shirt nutjob supremo, but im with Turkish on this one, you lot are monging too hard on this!

... said every owner and manager of Pompey just before each of the previous administrations. It really is a disease down there, christ! I predict a quality and quantity recruitment drive the second the deluded start to boo and hiss at their players again. I am looking forward to the laughs ahead. Any more commercial deals lined up? Its all gone queit since the landmark bin collection deal heralded a new dawn for pompey.
-
Big swing this way now IMO... Gus is on TV live right now, BBC Three, theyve just announced it live on air to him, his face is beautiful Hes talking right now.
-
these things can go either way IMO

Strong work MLG.

Expect to see and read more of this whilst the tide is high.

IIRC she didn't feel comfortable with the flag, the trophy I believe is respectful to all, but its down to the family really. Personally, I reckon a tribute match is decent each year, pay our respects and focus on the future of Saints as ML wanted us all to see.
-
Thats feels good, have a great weekend Lord T. :tophat:
-
IIRC the skates were trumpeted as promotion candidates last season, yet were relegated in quite spectacular fashion. It might be worth a speculative bet for them to be relegated out of the football league, if their make shift squad of mercenry fails them and as you say, the crowd quickly pick up all of last years booing again, it could crumble very quickly.

Indeed, they will get 10-15k for the first and last and factless et al will trumpet this all season. I will compose his tweet now: Forgetting all the three thousand away fans and the free tickets etc. But us nutjobs will know the real figures. And just look at those fixtures, I checked ours out, then changed the tab to 'league two' and had a good laugh at pompey.

I was wrong about you. -
champagne iain and mick certainly have been enjoying the high life down at league two fratton, I too wonder what will happen should they get turned over by Bournemouth on week one of the season... as stated above they have already worked out they can bribe bias out of agents for free transfer deals, so it wouldnt surprise me if they drove the trust bus right through the FL's demands or any financial fair play. This scenario will also show the HNW's etc and their respective agendas, as we know many of them are not skates, so it will be interesting to see who holds power ... the media hungry skates like iain and mick who would likely pander to the fans or the property developers who likely hold them in contempt and only care for liquidation.
-
In fairness, they have already brokered the deal to have their bins emptied by a local skate with a truck, said skate making it clear he is happy to trash his cash. It was a major announcement by factless and the snooze, trumpeting the ground-breaking commercial deal, im amazed you didnt hear about it over in Italy!
-
40-45% of the gate receipts each isnt it for the League Cup? After costs, I expect the skates can expect a windfall of circa £40K for this match, which will cover the wages for a week, just about! Eddie Mitchell and champagne iain will get along like a house on fire. I can imagine the two getting absolutely battered together before grabbing the mic's and spilling onto the pitch, offering up the fans and swearing down the radio!
-
Fire up that propaganda machine for the great south coast derby! It would be very funny for the skates to take some humiliation from bompey similar to how we taught bompey a lesson a few times. I want to see pompey dominated by bompey and out of the cup at the first call.
