You make a strong argument. How about mine... for the sake of democracy AND the economy vote REMAIN.

A club's standing in the game does not fluctuate year on year. Newsflash - yes they do. Or are they making the point that it only changes very slowly... in which case how many more years of mediocrity does it require before we can consider Everton to be mediocre?

The screenshot is from Koeman doing some analysis on Sky Sports for Leicester vs Newcastle on 14/3. The quote + picture doing the rounds is dated 15/3. The Sky sports page about the match has an embedded video which contains Koeman just talking about Leicester and how Arsenal + City are now too far adrift to win the league etc. I suppose it might be something he said during the live coverage that isn't on the video but for me the English is far too perfect for RK... it doesn't even sound like something he would say. http://www.skysports.com/football/leicester-vs-newcastle/341480 Why yes I had time on my hands, why do you ask?

Agree entirely on the £100m. Man Utd are apparently about to buy a defender for £30m. Going with that benchmark... congrats, you can afford 3 top class players... assuming they want to join a club that isn't playing in Europe and hasn't exactly been setting the world on fire for 20 years. Or maybe they are planning to adopt the Saints model and unearth undervalued gems for £10m each. If that's so easy then what's been stopping them doing that already?

What stand were you in? I was in Kingsland on Sunday and it was impossible to make anything out. Was in Itchen tonight and it was fine.
-
Given the problems they've had with refs being over-awed, surely they should be closing stands to try and get promotion? At least until they reach the championship and the floodlights come in to their own.

Is anyone putting a banner over one of the M27 motorway bridges? Would be a nice sight on the way home for the away fans...

no away goals in playoffs... as it happens that cost us in 2007.
-
Listening to Solent on the way back from the match and they were interviewing one of the skate directors (or whatever). Going on and on about how they don't get the 50/50 decisions at home because the refs are overawed by the atmosphere. Then some stupid statement that he had counted 27 such decisions this season and they had only got 2. Utter utter garbage. The mythmaking happens at all levels.

14 down is bow-legged

Skate's fault.

Fixture should be cancelled and west ham deducted points. Totally unfair to expect united to play after that.
-
Yes. 6th just needs us to win, Liverpool to drop points in either game, and west ham to lose one OR draw and then not win their other match by more goals than we beat palace.

58% chance, adding on the 2% chance of finishing 5th...
-
We'd have progressed in the Europa to the group stages and our league form would have suffered badly as a result?
-
Definitely think kane's movement put the defence off. **** goal all round.
-
Great result ... brings goal difference close enough to ours that we could realistically overhaul them

Used to commute there 4 or 5 days a week for quite a while. Leave as early as you can in the morning (from both a work / sleep / sanity perspective) to avoid the traffic on the M3. If you do have to leave it late, the black spots are from Soton to the A34, and then from Fleet Services (or thereabouts) all the way to the M25. I used to come off the M3 at either 4 (go past Camberley and then up through Forresters Way) or 4A (Yateley, past Sandhurst and then through Crowthorne). Never as far as junction 3 which is the "officially" signed route. And especially not now with the endless 50mph roadworks. Best route might depend which part of Bracknell you are trying to get to. Try and avoid busy times around the Twin Bridges roundabout at the bottom of the A329(M). On way back traffic can be more variable. Obviously it's worst at rush hour, but the journeys are a bit more staggered. Never really had much trouble getting out of the town, though sometimes pretty busy between Bracknell and Crowthorne. Back this end again, it is usually busy around the A34 junction, through Twyford Down and then on the stretch toward Eastleigh. It can be done in less than an hour. On a clear run, 50 minutes is doable.

In fairness, 15242 was their average last season - they're about 7% up on that at the moment this season.

Hilarious. Bit of slightly different / innovative marketing taken to be "desperation". "Our ground is sold out every week and we’re in League Two.".... at least one of those things is true...

What tax avoidance? Not being flippant... everyone keeps mentioning tax avoidance, but can you point to the tax that he has avoided?
-
Well no because the register of interest has a threshold figure for declaring a shareholding and his holding didn't meet the requirement.

Where is that quote from and what is it based on?
