I live North of the Wrekin, 80 miles south of Manchester,35 miles West of Brum and approximately 20 miles East of the Welsh Border. Do I qualify as a 'Northerner' now? I do hope so as all the people round here believe they are Salopians!!!
Didn't rate him when he was here, his time with us didn't provide what I would call 'entertaining football'; but it would appear that he can excel in Div 1 and the Championship.
PS Why did Cardiff sack him?
Dunno if any of you read PE but there's a quite interesting article on Reading and their 'presumed' new owners. They could be right in the doo doo if things don't pan out right (no pun intended)
PE 1312 p32 PLANET FOOTBALL Reading.
Thanks for the honest post Moff. A lot of us Saints have been where you are and it's not very pleasant but as many posters have already said 'Div 1' has it's good points.
As far as SISU is concerned why not sing
S...I...S...U Just F..k off we don't need you?
Repeat many times.
PS. We will beat you tomorrow and no hard feelings implied.
I was hoping for a Draw at least last night but it was not to be. All I want now is the best birthday present any Saint can have with a very good win on Saturday.
PS It's my birthday on Thursday 26th.

I listened on Saints Player for the very first time and all I could hear was the Saints Fans. MOM to all of you who were there.
PS I was in text contact with my Nipper all through the game.
It's the very same lass who was sitting next to him in his Range Rover in Britannia Road after the Middlesborough game. She actually said 'Hello' as we passed our best to Lee on a speedy return.
I remember it well. In fact we often bring it up in conversation. had we beat spurs they would have stayed down and Brighton gone up with us. Strange that 'we don't do that over here'. Testes!!! Two Manure dodgy penalties eh? We don't do it over here right?
Just spoken to my S-I-L (a Posh STH) and he reckons if we play as we did against Reading then all will be Saints. However,if - and it's a very big if- Posh dig their heels in it'll be a draw. I try not to predict after Friday but I'm still convinced we will go up.
Years ago as a young lad I read a dirty book entitled "The Watcher and the Watched" You don't have to guess what the 'Watcher' was doing......forty nine fifty, change hands!!!!
They haven't got much chance of getting anything then as I've just read on BBC Sport that the Skates owe £58 million (£20 milliion more than when they went into administration.)
It fair tugs at the heart strings (Not)
