Just about even at full time. I think AP ought to instruct them to stop this bloody 'head tennis'. We were far better keeping the ball on the deck. My MOM was Dan Harding followed closely by Kelvin. What a superb save. I also agree with Alpine. Our kids were being bundled off the ball frequently. Just in passing. anyone know how many times Saga was caught offside? It could have made a huge difference as the flow of play halted time after time due to his incompetence. 370 miles round trip but well worth it on a lovely sunny day back 'home' COYR

Met him at the Dell quite a few years ago. A true 'Gentleman' in every sense of the word. RIP Sir Bobby you are sorely missed.

Bumped into another 'Saint' today as I was about to enter Tesco's here in Telford. We had a quick discussion about AP and the immediacy of the problems. He (the other Saint) said "It won't take long for the 'Negatives' to start posting with their nonsensical comments" and here we are true to form already having a go at our manager. For Gods' sake fella's (and fellar-esses) let the man get on with his Job. I certainly wouldn't want it at this particular moment in time. I'm APPP-Y I'm APPP-Y! COYR

I think Oliver must have read my earlier post when I said (in jest)KK's visit to St Mary's was a 'foil' for Shearer.

StAndy. I think you are a). Making the response from Mawhinney appear 'genuine' or b). It IS genuine because the 'grammar and syntax' is typical of an organisation that trades in obfuscation. Inside knowledge is a wonderful thing but why really (apart from the Negotiators) is ITK?

How about AFC Southampton? At least it puts into the top of the alphabet!

Email campaign to expose what the slithery snake Mawhinney has done
hasper57saint replied to Mole's topic in The Saints
Here we go again. This 'Forum' is for its members. (that's us) The Admistrators write the 'Rules'. If we (and many have) break those 'Rules' then the Admin team have every right to disbar us. Yes we can appeal but it will be the very same people hearing the appeal as the ones who have written the 'Rules'. What's diferent to this than the FL? I'll get me coat! -

I am a member of a 'Private members Club'. The Club is a Limited Company registered under Law at Companies House. The 'Law' is the 'Law of the Land'. The Club Rules are for the Members. The right of appeal is enshrined in the Club Rules. However, the Club 'writes the rules'. To break them is NOT against the 'Law'.The FL write the Rules for the 'members'. Parliament writes the 'LAWS' for the citizens of the UK. Can you see the difference Guys? I hope I have simplified it sufficiently for you.(PS I'm not being patronising but the more I read here the more I become concerned about a 'Campaign' against the FL and its Chairman) -
For what it's worth.I taught Law for a considerable number of years and reliably inform you that 'The Right of Appeal' is sacrosant in English law. The FL know this but appear insistent that they will NOT negotiate over the Ten points deduction for next season. Whether or not they dig their heels in now is irrelevant as the Right of Appeal has to be recognised. Murderers have the right of appeal but it dosen't mean they always get off. The FL Lawyers are probably advising the Board at this very moment.

Have you thought that perhaps Keegan is Shearers agent and MLT wants to do a deal?

Never in the field of Saints History has a man (apart from the NOBRAINOAF) given so little for so much and still didn't know 'Wotte' he was doing.Fare ye well Mark. I hope you find your true vocation.

I have a very reliable 'contact' in Guernsey. He is updating me on every move this group make. I'll keep you informed as things develop.I haven't posted earlier as things are in the melting pot so to speak. It is quite possible that the 'Guernsey Group' will put in the best bid. I say no more as my contact will confirm all as soon as the bid is accepted.

Here we go yet again. For the past 52 years I, like many other Saints, have suffered the iniquities that make Southampton Football Club what it is. WOTTE it isn't! It never will be if all we can do is put out a team of nonentities who care little for the Club and even less for the Fans. Once we are down (and after today I believe we are) then perhaps we may just start recognising that we are no longer a force to be reckoned with and try to organise a set of players with whom we can identify. I was at Blackpool (couldn't make it today) and we were lucky to draw. The majority of teams in this league are not very good. Charlton are just about as bad as they come yet Saints made them look like they believed in something. Bye Bye for Wotte its worth!!!

Thanks for the 'memories' Janet. We were sat just below you. Any idea how many of us were there yesterday?

I still think we'll get beaten at Birmingham though
hasper57saint replied to Window Cleaner's topic in The Saints
Living where I do (Telford) I have many neighbours who are 'Blues' fans. I've spoken to two of them this morning and they believe that they will LOSE on Saturday by the odd goal. It's Saints turn to get a bit of glory and as far as Micks ( a Brummie) concerned Brum will still be in the CCC next season. We have it all to play for so COYR! -
What did I tell you Woops. "It only hurts the first time" Now take that supercillious grin off your face.

Just to raise a smile on a another(Pointsless) Sunday Barack.............I screwed up McGoldbrick.......I'm 'See Rap' Wotte..............I really don't have a clue Drew................We can't win them all (Fan in reply.. You can't win any!) BWP.................I won't take my pay this week (or next) Boss Mule................Oh! It's those white posts with the net is it? Now. You are invited to do some Ruperts or Wildes or anyone connected with Saints. http://www.saintsweb.co.uk/forum/images/icons/icon7.gifhttp://www.saintsweb.co.uk/forum/images/icons/icon6.gif

Saints Lowe Wilde. Need I say more (Last week I didn't think we would but after todays debacle we will be the strongest Team in the League as we will be holding up all the others from 24th)
-
Be honest - which division should our team be playing in
hasper57saint replied to Mole's topic in The Saints
I watched AFC Telford recently and Saints would be hard pressed to get a draw out of them and they are in the Blue Square NORTH! You only have to thinks LEEDS and Div 1 and you have your answer. -
Apart from four teams in this league the rest are pretty well below average and Div 1. Saints at the moment are in the latter. However, all we have to do is win three games and we are out of the relegation mire. Can I ask as a humble supporter of some FIFTYTWO years now, that you to be a little bit more positive? Just forget Lowe and his bunch of lackeys and think thus: WE WILL NOT GET RELEGATED.(There you are. Didn't hurt a bit did it?)
-
An image of your 'Pea Brained' Manager who will melt away into the realms of time as the one who couldn't believe his luck when appointed Coach to Saints.

Well that's out of the way. We were NEVER going to win this. Let's face it. Riley has never done us any favours. Manure have some of the best players IN THE WORLD and it certainly showed today. What do we have? A Chairman who hasn't the slightest idea about how to run a Football Club, a manager who would just about reach his proper level in the Conference South and a team of 'Players?' who have no experience, no idea what those white posts are for and, as this match has shown, McG and Patt will never get us us out othe mess we are in as they don't know what to do when they are within striking distance of the goal.ffs we DIDN'T have one shot on target. LOWE OUT!
