Why not make that reasonable post without the need to insult others who hold a contrary view? -

Libel Reminder / Use of Main Board Rules / Useful Links
St Chalet replied to stevegrant's topic in The Saints
I think a vast number of posters have forgotten this a football forum and not a playground. Having waded through a few threads in recent days and comparing to a year or so ago it appears it has got systematically worse. So please let bygones be bygones, respond to the post not the poster, ignore those you don't want to see content from etc. Going forward I personally be applying the forums rules to the letter which will involve infractions and bans. Hopefully a bit of football discussion will break out as a result. -
It is moderated, however if we deleted everything that grown adults felt a little uncomfortable we'd have MLG's stats update, that's it. VFTT is pretty consistent, ideally drop the C word fella, I happen to agree with most of what he says. It is a thread about posters reacting to each other, all of the responses are priceless! Going forward how about we run SaintsWeb big brother and have a monthly eviction?

We may have a release clause. On the assumption VVD signed a longer deal with us, for significantly more money - I assume it is a larger one than we had when he first joined. Year after year folk on here doubt the commercial nouse of our club, who apart from Alderweireld, have delivered year on year.

it would appear so. -
I'd be amazed if true. Why sign him on a big new deal with a ludicrous release clause?

Bad day at the office. We need a bit of consistency. We struggle if we concede first. I predict a riot....

Looks a strong team. Hoping for 3 points and finishing another ex Manager.

sensible post CB. Ultimately it is the publisher that carries the risk for libel. My understanding is that in the case of Internet forums that liability can be site owners, isp, moderators and the poster. -

I am not legally trained, but my limited understanding is that libel is tested in a court of law . My view therefore is that something that may reasonably be referred to the courts for such a decision has the potential to be libellous. potential pə(ʊ)ˈtɛnʃ(ə)l/ adjective 1. having or showing the capacity to develop into something in the future. Heard on Talksport this morning that City are in for him. To be fair he is a perfect fit for them. Start the bidding Les.
