Clasie looked a bit off the pace, was disappointing to surrender the midfield so easily in the second half but they did very little to actually threaten regardless. We have to be more ruthless after taking the lead. First half, fantastic. The Cherries were lucky to only be 2-0 down at half time, a fully deserved win on that basis.

Not really, two England capped players from the academy is a reasonable hit rate for a club in the North West where there is so many clubs in such a small area. Can only echo Scotty otherwise, good that we are being mentioned in this regard, whether we could now be the right platform for that kind of development is now another issue. I have my doubts.
