Coldplay, you've done it now! I'm actually insulted!!! Don't you worry I know all about Harrogate, the joy of Grandparents in Wetherby. They have a more pleasant kind of Chav in Harrogate, will always make sure their ferret cannot bite you before they liberate you of your phone/wallet. I don't mind Audi's or BMW's, would like one but frankly I have more important things to be spending the cash on. (e.g. removing that 'from' Coventry statement.)

I fear they are over flattering him a bit. Great prospect and has done admirably but doesn't over anywhere near as much a Clyne...... yet.

Your favourite Saints players that weren't popular?

As he did wherever he went. Played admirably in the champions league after departing us, vastly underrated player. -
And proudly so! The screen printed Saints badge transfer is on delivery. I have an image of you driving around business estates with a boot full of paper samples. All while fuming at the Harrogate chavs who dared lean on your vehicle. I take it the Passat doesn't quite fit your ideal?

As does the BMW with you.

Explain.

I always liked Paul Telfer. Unglamourous, professional and a true cog in the machine. Not a world beater but we could have done with more like him when we were relegated in 04/05. -
Then get an Audi A3.

Yep. The three series is practical enough to live with day to day, the one series is not. Having said that, I prefered my old Mondeo to the three series. Even my current Passat is more then up to it but not quite as good as the ford IMO.

Naturellement Jacques Corque, non? -
Is it important to you to have a make with a bit of 'kudos?' (I'm trying to politely ask if you are a badge snob. )

It seems to me that our attacking intent stems from full back. The difference in the second half v Sunderland when Clyne actually overlapped his fellow wideman and linked in with the midfield utterly changed the game, we looked infinitely more dangerous. At Norwich, with Shaw and Clyne out we were exposed and played right into Norwich's hands. Chambers is ok defensively but is no attacking threat, as for Danny Fox.... well, I think enough has already been said. Get Shaw and Clyne back in and we'll be ok. Our lack of options from this position is currently our biggest weakness for me. -
What are you needing/wanting from a car then?

Taking them on their own merits they are good vehicles, drive nicely, extremely well built, reliable with reasonable fuel economy. However, compared to their immediate rivals they are cramped, impractical, not especially comfortable and vastly overpriced. Had one as a loan vehicle a few years ago and was shocked at how little you would get for the money. If you really want one, i'm sure you will like it but I feel there are far better vehicles available for better money.

A good point. Again though, I believe there was more to that then meets the eye which further leads me to believe that the Billy Sharp situation is purely a professional impasse. -

His personal issues probably contribute to it. Sharp had been through an awful lot just before leaving Doncaster, he came here for a fresh start, did exactly what was required of him and then just 4 months after signing he was deemed to be surplus to requirements. It is harsh..... but it's football. -

I don't think it makes us look silly. He is behind many in our pecking order but is obviously talented. If as you say three premier league clubs have bid for him then it shows he is regarded as a potential danger in the hands of a rival. It is harsh on Billy personally that he is still here but not wanting him to go to a rival makes perfect sense to me. The club has shown itself to be ruthless on many matters since coming out of administration, it is a double edged sword. The massive progress we have seen has come at the expense of certain pleasantries. Sadly it seems that Billy is coming out worse, hope he gets a good loan out at Championship level; was there any truth in Sheffield Wednesday wanting him? -
Agree with the sentiment.

I doubt it's like that. The nature of football is that if you let a player sign for a potential rival you just know they will come back and haunt you. It could just be a way of ensuring that one of our current 'assets' cannot leave and cause us damage, especially as the club doesn't need to sell. I seriously doubt it's anything personal, just a ruthless attitude to business.
