  1. Bloody nerve-wracking this.
  2. And what Saints don't want to do now is conceed.
  3. Dissappointed at Stelling's unproffesionalism there. Gestures like that do not solve feuds, they heighten them.
  4. Sadly, for every legend there will be a parasite. At least with the 'no freebies' policy there can be no abuse.
  5. How is his existing club offering a new contract cause to say 'Oh dear?' That he has the belief to turn the new deal down shows that he must be in a rather strong bargaining position.
  6. That's completely contrary to my experiences when attending QT in Coventry last December. Everyone I spoke to had applied via phone or online for seats and then by luck had been picked. Applause and jeering came from all areas of the crowd which was an extremely wide cross-section of students, public and private sector workers, a few retired individuals and people of all backgrounds and race. I was also extremely heartened that despite Coventry being a labour heartland an effort was obviously made by the producers to keep the audience as diverse as possible. There was a small area (30 seats max) to the side of the stage where people who seemed to be party affiliated were sat but they were explicitely asked by David Dimbleby to be silent through the filming process because audience reaction is about 'public opinion, not political volume.'
  7. It's amazing how the man who got Markus involved with us in the first place can attract such venom.
  8. Be fair to Dalek, even he provides an accurate perspective here.
  9. The last remnant of times best forgotten continues on his way. The day he departs for good will be a day to celebrate.
  10. He is a damned good striker but that ship has sailed, he could have filled in the gap many sense in our striking options but the ship has sailed. No use for tears on that, especially as I am confident that our best strikers provide at least as good an option.
  11. An MP who aligns themself to a political party automatically sets themself under the charge of a 'chief whip' who has the job of ensuring that in public all members adhere to the 'party line' in topics. I would suspect that any party member who appears on something like question time will have been vetted by the whip to ensure that any risk of embarrasing or undermining comment for their parties are minimised. It no surprise therefore that the answers they give will be a bit sterile on the whole.
  12. I can play anywhere down the right. Only throw me in if there is no other option though.
  13. I want promOrion. I want to see my team back competing with the best this country has to offer. It's a question of pride for me, better to be a small fish in a big pond trying to find it's way then making the best of a smaller more comfortable environment.
  14. My money is on Yellow, zero risk of clash.
  15. There was a record for the JPT final?
  16. I always include the 'Saintsweb Man of the Match' in my match reports, the only way to get that is to ask the forum users, if they have been to the game great, it allows them to make a more informed opinion, but opinions will be crafted too from reading match reports and hear'say from mates. It would also be impossible on here to seperate the match goers from those who couldn't/didn't attend. So while I agree it may be a little less well informed then the official man of the match award, it is a reflection of the forum's opinion and feeling. Therefore it is far from bizare or meaningless.
  17. I would usually agree, but at least this girl went for it based on luck and took it as it came, hoping to play it through to the end. It was the show working at it's absolute best... rather then the usual unjustifiable melodrama.
  18. I hope i'm just being cynical. I really do.
  19. They must have needed another burly bricksh*t house french forward to keep Mathieu Manset company.
  20. One side of me feels glad to have read that he still feels fondness for us, the other side is glad he's had some lessons from the PR department at the emirates Stadium.
  21. The Delays?
  22. Was it ever possible? Did HCC try to get the games there? With all the recent building work down there it was surely an aim. Edit: 2013* Any idea why we are hosting it two series in a row?
  23. Good lord, it's that look on her face..... just.... evil.....
  24. My thoughts entirely. I was always hoping for a Chaplow-Schneiderlin announcement before match last season but now whenever Hamster is in there I know he will do his job more then effectively. He really has stepped up in the last 9 months and fully, fully deserves the new contract.
