  1. Nonsense. I want more. MORE!!!
  2. I actually agree. He showed some good moments but was always slated.... I just didn't understand it.
  3. Q: Did the team at the time actually think for a second that the dutch experiment had a chance of working? Q: Raspberry Ripple or Mint Choc Chip? Q: How was Rupert Lowe as a boss?
  4. He's having a busy night
  5. Dean Richards - 8 million Theo Walcott - 9.1 million Two unbelievable deals. If NC can beat them... Then well, total credit to him.
  6. .. And therefore cementing the Sash in the mind of the general public as being our new fresh and unique identity! Great point Docker-P! Come on you Sashes!!!!
  7. Oh well. We're in the money boys and girls!
  8. A superb idea... my other half uses Freecycle and obtained a Fridge the same way.
  9. That could be done! Just hope he doesn't mind if the accomodation is themed for a 2 year old child. (after a few beers I wouldn't care just so long I could fit in the bed...) What type/brand/spec of combi boiler should I be looking at. Any you would recommend J9?
  10. I think I need to have a little weep over the money i'm about to lose. At least I have an idea what would need to be done now. No chance of you driving up to Coventry to do the work I take it? 400 quid sounds excellent!
  11. So a combi boiler will be able to handle both the hot tap water and central heating. Ok. I would therefore be paying for: New Boiler. Removal of the old ones. Re-pipping the central heating lines from underneath the fireplace to the kitchen to the combi A new thermostat arrangement Labour Is that about right?
  12. I am trying to sort out the riddle that is my home and right now I am having some boiler issues. I live in a 3 bedroom terraced house. It currently has two boilers. One is located behind the fire in the lounge. It's an ancient EMI Housewarmer 2 35/45 which is a combination fire and back boiler which powers the central heating. The second (A Glow-worm Ascot 1.4S) is in the kitchen that looks after all tapped hot water. The central heating boiler is on it's last legs. The Kitchen one is working rather well though, never had any problems. Can these two boilers be combined into one unit? And, heaven forbid, how much would this kind of work cost!?
  13. Massive. Massive club.
  14. Dear god. That's a woman!?
  15. Yes we do. It's so we could meet UEFA 4 Star stadium standards. And no, we can't do anything about it. Hope that helps.
  16. Ahem. http://www.saintsweb.co.uk/showthread.php?27647-Conspiracists-and-Sabateurs
  17. I agree entirely. This is something we should look to profit upon. Who knows, once we have become a massive all encompassing sports empire we can dominate Rugby, Cricket, Athletics, Speedway, Tiddlywinks, Monkey Chicken Petting, Sheep Shearing, Caber tossing, 3D Chess and Bacon Slicing. Once I had a dream.....
  18. Maybe so, but from the moment I had to change my pre-match pub from 'The Eagle' things improved quite a lot!!!
  19. Has to be the same car park, same bookies and same pub on the way up... The walk back has to be the same route too. When they shut the railways bridge for rebuild not far from the college street car park I was utterly lost. (And it coincided with our awful form around september too.... make of that what you will.)
  20. Now a scout at Milan and 37. No thanks.
  21. Before a Skate comes to hijack this thread. Quality is not inversely proportional to Quantity. If they did Colden Common FC would be epic.
  22. St Mary's Stadium could not handle an 8 lane 400 metre atheltics track. The field size at SMS is quoted on both the football ground guide and Wikipedia as 102 meters. An approximate distance from the front of the Chapel and Northam Stands to the field edge is circa 5 meters. Therefore the total length of space available in St Mary's can be confidently stated to be no more then 115 meters. An 8 lane 400 metre running track needs more then 160 meters of length. (My prior calculations gave lengths of either 162.5 or 167.5 meters based on conflicting data on how long the tracks front and back 'straights' are, either 80 or 85 meters.) Even if I am being far too conservative in my estimate of terrace to field distance we are still WAY off having the room. Conclusion: An athletics track would not fit in St Mary's Stadium, regardless of the football pitch.
  23. The same could be said for Theo. He was purchased from Swindon. On that logic i'm happy to throw in Kenwyne Jones into the mix, we made him into a footballer after all.
  24. Cotterill: "I think the boy has been ill advised." HAHA. Look in the mirror Steve, if you slag of his youth side team mates and freeze them out then of course he'll be having second thoughts.
  25. It's just wide enough, but unless the playing area and cinder track is 160+ meters long then no, it couldn't.
