  1. Or do they?
  2. Going to say it: Would be happy with the point. (I'm sorry)
  3. Frankly, considering location and the relative wealth of the area it's amazing that we have been the only club to have this infrastructure on the South coast for so long. A massive population and catchment area with great potential, it puts the folly of the Skates position into even greater focus seeing how they squandered their great opportunity to consolidate 10-12 years ago. Both Bournemouth and Brighton have built very astutely. In Bournemouth's case, why build a new stadium when the main money is from TV, Sponsorship and player sales? Maximising their academy and fundamental infrastructure is far more sensible then the tens of millions it would take to add 10-15k capacity to their home ground. The Stadium would bring some extra income but compared to the previously mentioned three factors it clearly isn't an immediate priority.
  4. Obafemi would enjoy this game I feel.
  5. Excellent.
  6. Gunn should have done better there. Either way shouldn't have had that much space on the edge of the box.
  7. Vestergaard starts after all.
  8. Looked bereft of confidence. Reminded me of Jay-Rod when he first joined, it didn't click for him until he scored v Spurs.
  9. Kenny Jacket's reaction to this will really p*ss the blue few off. Beautiful. To paraphrase: 'We can learn from them.'
  10. Bragging rights secured for the generation.... WHO THE F**K IS LAUGHING NOW!!!!!
  11. With new exhaust technologies Diesel has a lot more mileage yet. It's just fallen out of vogue as a scapegoat. I personally have much more faith that a conventional diesel engine which can effectively run on plant based oils and be recycled without issue has a lower total life cost then an electric car which needs to consume rare earth elements and several battery changes to equal the lifespan. It was very curious how the ELV (End of Life Vehicle) regualtions stating that a certain amount of a car needs to be recyclable quietly vanished as soon as Hybrids and Electrical Vehicles became the fashion.
  12. I want to give credit at least two players. Boufal is a man reborn, work-rate of a player unbecoming of this defense fearless when taking on and totally committed to winning things back. Romeu also did his shift superbly, he is not in there to score or be the last line... Frankly, he should not have been given responsibility to mark their best threat from a set piece, he is there to break things up and he did that. The team around them however?
  13. I'm going on instinct rather then logic here. But, I firmly believe we are better then: Villa, Norwich, Sheff Utd, Watford, Newcastle. I think we will be ok. Just, ok. But, I want to see the major flaws in us addressed. Static defending and an unclinical shame that has cursed us since Koeman left.
  14. Infuriating. There are clear and repeated flaws in how we perform. I don't believe we are in danger this season, but my goodness, there is such scope for improvement and for the first time Ralph must answer some difficult questions.
  15. Actually funny. Work to do Ralph......
  16. Taste in hairbands?
  17. By again, do you mean now?
  18. Yes, this is the only positive. Our pressing is working. Now to do something with it.
  19. Not very good. All fart and no sh*t up front and a static defence. If there are no changes for the second half I will be fuming.
  20. Fair enough. He was quite bad watching Man Utd and Leicester. Crouchy was good with the Brighton/Burnley game. He freely admitted that it was so bad he was glancing at Dortmund v Leverkusen.
  21. If the Irony requires you watching Sky....... Going back to my original suggestion though, would Deeney be worse then Savage and Ince? Having second thoughts.
  22. Sorry, but when reading that you sound like a teenage girl. Totally. Try BT Sport next week.
  23. Can't complain. Fingers crossed for Bertrand's imminent return. Him and Shaw competing at LB (once his ankle is healed) would be acceptable.
  24. Indeed. Read the first post and wondered if i'd somehow suffered from major concussion.
  25. Skill, Creativity and Pace Love it.
