Just goes to show Saints dont have the money to pay S****horpe the compensation nor do we have the ability to attract talent. Its as though we have the pre takeover `lable` and problems right back with us. If Saints asked manager to leave without the compo sorted then its a disgrace to fotball. Butyou have to askyourself why the number 1 choice turned us down for Bournemouth......thats now the big question...not who is the next manager as there done for I suspect

Anyone who gets Hull FC promoted must be good. The season before Hull went up they were as bad as Saints now...Mind you how did Bournemouth get promoted, we appear to miss all these managers who can get unlikly clubs promoted. But you look at these managers and Holloway they are all characters that I cant see getting on with Lowe II.

Most of would have loved to have been kicked out, savng us watching Non leaque football by title favs.

Gutless, not tactics, useless, devoid of skill and a totally pointless game to have turned up to see. Why didnt the club just cancell the game and the players stand up and say `we are not playing today` and be done with it. This is supposed to be a team fit to win the title this season, fit for the bottom 3. Back to the old Lowe days, crap running of club and team that cant raise thier game cos they wont or just are not god enough.

Saints are too predictable now and by second half teams have worked out just defend and sit back, wait for us to give the ball away of run out of side to side, back, forward, back, to keeper, back to side to side, forward a bit, oh lets go back then side again. We are playing some strange kind of possesion keep then lose ball training plan. No midfield today, awful wastefull crosses, and suspect defending. We cant afford to waste chances at this level....5 in first 8 mins, 4 in second half..almost 2 open goals missed!!! AP must get some attacking game plan sorted and get a few players to replace Papa and Antonio otherwise 3/1 to avoid relegation not promotion.

Put the same team in to prove themselves. Will have to play Bournemoth in leaque anyway so should treat the game as a must win. Need some goals to give confidence. Both teams dont have good defence or midfield so expect goals. 16K, bit steep £16 for such an early cup game. Skates is the rivalry and Bourenmouth are not liked after all the cr*p towards Saints fans when we played in thier game to raise money so I hope we hammer them and they get relegated.

I think its a reaction to the hyped expectations the press and web sites have of Saints being title favs @ 13/5. If you went to todays game thinking it will be a tile winning season (where you cant lose to many games especialy vs a team we had today) and watched what was on display you would Boo, bang your head on the concreate steps, drink 5 pints very very quickly to forget the game. I certainly couldnt belive what I saw so maybe the Boo Boys watched something worth Booing for. It wasnt that different to the England games. Too much expectation on teams that are not as good as we think.

Too much fancy football and no end product. The aim of the game is to score goals. It looked to me as though it was last game of season and we just needed to avoid losing by 5 goals to stay 6th from bottom. We nee hight up front, a winger and some one in midfield. Also a game plan would help. The players couldnt handle the big game pressure of being title favs. No worries as they have just shown the rest of the leaque how poor Saints can be if you come to SMS organised, fit and just play in the second half. All in all the first half may have been good for passing but if we cant score without Lambert in the first half against what was a cr*p team then thats a big question for the club to answer to the fans. First half 6/10 second 1/10. Title odds 40/1. 2nd 33/1 3rd 25/1

Both teams have half the team with key players, England are probally more experienced and start as favourites to win.

ha ha Green is on loan to Algeria, can the FA get a loan fee. These two teams have struggled to hit the crowd let alone the goal. If England dont win 5 or 9 nil against these two pub teams then they dont deserve to go through

I actuallu thought Rupert was back when I looked at the saints site and couldnt belive the increase in season ticket prices and booking fee. It like all the concert ticket sites and venues that now just fleece fans of money. have i missed the boom in th recovery? or is Southampton still an area with a high proportion of unemployed. £27-24 plus booking fee thats premiership prices. I am not happy with a £40 increase in a Northam Season ticket at all, and that changes my outlook on those running saints.

I cant see why any owner would want to sack a manger for no logical reason, upset the fan base and make himself look a fool. You get nowhere running a club like Lowe/skate owner/west ham etc Perhaps AP didnt get a meeting appointment request in the outlok e-mail and he was out shopping today instead!
