Virgil has been put back in too soon clearly. looked so much better with Boufal and Davis on, but the game was far more open at that point. We need to move Austin on in January and pay lots to buy a Pelle/Lambert replacement someone who can hold the ball up which in turn will allow the full backs to push up as well, I think thats why they are currently reluctant to bomb forward. And I like the new policy of not sending players off when a second yellow is clearly warranted, give them a lecture and a final strike, much fairer to the viewing public.

Monday morning still reeling at how inept that first half was, terrible, relegation fare. Davis is no good as a DM end of, so play round pegs in round holes Lemina or PEH. Then we must have two up front, give Long a chance he looks fit and mobile not like donkey Austin. Drop Redmond and Boufal just play anyone who is at least 5'11 tall as we were brushed aside Saturday, it was frightening.

We will clearly need a big tall CB who can head the ball against Watford for sure. I honestly don't know what our best 11 is and I don't think MoPo does yet or Clueless ever did. That is our fundamental underlying issue, in the team situation we are still forming, not even norming or performing, let alone storming!

Shane Long has to be given a chance as we are at home as does Boufal to try and score some goals…all we are saying, is give us a goal!!

FF was a bit unlucky really, the first goal the shot took a deflection and the second was an instinctive reaction save just to be undone by a world class finish by a quality poacher hats off to him. No one seems to be enthusing about our first goal and the overall movement/pace; sure Gabba got lucky with a scuffed shot but it was OT! What annoyed me was he made loads more runs and didn't get the pass early enough. As per usual Redmond and RB had their weekly hissy fit when one doesn't pass to each other not spotting a run, hilarious.
