  1. Kev worked with me at B&Q in his later years with Saints as he worked toward his Chartered surveying exams, before he went up to Fulham as security officer. Just feel so sorry for his wife and kids same age as me and mine, but relief for him after a horrible illness. Never had the chance to enjoy the good times.
  2. OMG Cabrone has made my stomach turn with his very realistic scenario - it would be just like WBA to roll over again v Wigan and do the dirty on us once more. Stoke at home will be a horrible game make no mistake, what a way to end the season again, I really thought after Chelsea we had put all that behind us.
  3. MOTD said Spuds looked leggy yesterday? This one worries me now, we could get truly hammered if we dont keep shape/discipline. Spurs at home needing to win - gulp!!
  4. We all need to get behind the team and make some noise tomorrow, not spend too much time singing Sha La La WTFILN, well, OK for a bit, but concentrate on the job in hand. The next 2 away games are tough, so we need 3 points to not get sucked back in the last relegation spot - FWIW I think we are safe anyway, but glad we are not having to sweat out the last 3 games to stay up!
  5. Portsmouth COMMUNITY Football Club - that just sums it all up - having shafted local businesses, charities, council, they have the gall to call themselves a Community Club. What a sick bunch of hypocritical naysayers. Quicker they hit Admin 4 the better. WTFILN.
  6. Ricky is due an away goal is he not? Fully fit squad except Guly, should all be well up for this one, still need a few more points yet, the earlier the better. COYRS!!
  7. What about that industrial estate to the south of the ground - any on street or £5 informal car parks on match days? Thats where I am headed to have a look first.
  8. Went to bed on page 1750 last night and had a guess where we would be this morning - I salute you all fellow Saints fans for rubbing their snotty noses in their communal detritus infested back alleys. The AAP gag is brilliant! And I wish I was back where i worked 3 years ago when the skate followers were giving it large, oh how revenge and karma tastes so sweet. The best bit is from today 17th to next Monday 22nd we have 6 more days of lies spin and delusional rubbish to dissect and entertain us all before the next chapter is due to begin. You cannot then call it a takeover saga at that point, the continual car crash will need a new title or Volume 2 surely??
  9. I think Yeovil will be too strong for Oldham tonight, not withstanding Lee B,sad to say; we should put our faith in Sheff Utd and ....Dave Kitson!! And always Johnno Quick in the wings to deliver the coup de grace.
  10. Swansea 3 pts; WBA 3 pts; Spurs 0; Sunderland 0; Stoke 1, total 7 more points squeeze 10th place?
  11. Going to Wales next week, reckon a 3-3 draw proper game of football, cant wait after missing todays let down by the weather and Allardyce.
  12. Mind boggling vomit inducing figures RB, when i think of the tax I have paid the last 2 years it stinks, especially as HMRC were like a dog with a bone on me after i had been made redundant, bar stewards!
  13. Grim reality will kick in around 5pm on Saturday when Brentford have beaten them and the gap is virtually unreachable to Oldham who should win at Bury. How ironic that a red striped team starting with S will hopefully relegate the Cheats next Saturday!! WTFILN.
  14. Mine just arrived, new ground No 80 for me!
  15. Its about 1) can BDO sell the 'asset" in the first place, and then 2) if so, for how much? The fact expert witnesses are on hand and a higher offer has come in from left field makes me think BC thinks BDO will win 1 so he is putting all his effort on the valuation limb. High risk, as if he loses that, then his appeal options are far less as points of law unlikely.
  16. Jesus, what a sorry tale of pigs at the trough, no wonder the country and economies are in the state they are with all these sharks swimming around rotting carcasses.
  17. Can still see him now ramming home his 3rd after it came back off the bar and thought then he would be a legend. So determined to score!
  18. Plus the desperation factor for Stoke and Sunderland will kick in the last two games and hopefully we will be safe by then, so the mental dynamics will alter and form will be irrelevant.
  19. we all know would have been a different game had ALF scored that chance and ref gave a penalty. As always, fine lines, need a bit of luck, then class, desire and fitness take over. Such an easy second half, for once as well AL got the killer goal!
  20. Given its the 4th today, when will we know if the Court Hearing is the 10th or 11th? seems strange no firm date has been set; are they waiting for the judge to come back off holiday and his flight is uncertain or something?? My reading is that its a low priority case, expected to be heard swiftly, so its down the pecking order. No real legal precedents, PST beware...
  21. Not a great deal Marsdeninho - Coventry now deducted 10 points, seems unfair when compared to the Skates!!
  22. Birmingham for me behind the SK8s, because of all the aggro in the 70s home and away. But until the memory of that 1-4 at NAK is erased the inbreds will be most hated by most of us 100% certain guaranteed for sure!!!!
  23. Skates 2-0 up now, singing the 'Great Escape' - who knows? But Jeff Stelling put them in their plaice!
  24. He couldve had 3 by now.....SRL would have!!!!!
  25. As its Friday 22nd, how about a countdown of working days to the 10th or 11th? Next week is a short week with Easter, then its April, the time will fly - including today I make it only 11 days left if the PST want to sort out an out of court settlement with Portpin. Nearer the time could someone tag on the music from the Rocky film, "its the final countdown"??
