I don’t think he’ll leave, unless a substantial offer that the club can’t refuse comes in. They’ll be some on socials and on here that are probably creaming at the idea of him going on deadline day just so they’ll have something to moan about. But this summer feels different, it’s us as a club against the world, with a point to prove, and I think we will. We will win the league this season.

I’m more confident of Casper Jander staying, I think it would be a pretty seismic decision to allow both he and Shea Charles to leave in this window - and I was always convinced SC would go. Taylor Harwood-Bellis is an interesting one. I thought he’d have been one of the first out the door, but seemingly not. I think his situation is a bit more unique; clearly seen as a leader around the club, his development and attitude has been huge, recently married, only this year had a baby with his partner - things like that make me think he might stay put for one more season, unless a monumental offer comes in that the club can’t turn down. My concern would be that if someone like him leaves, would the likes of Flynn Downes, Ryan Manning etc push to go at the last minute? I’m more confident he’ll stay in all truth.

This page is very much like teenagers screaming at each other saying “mines better than yours”. 😂😂 Whoever the Russell Martin lover is, quite simply he isn’t going to sleep with you. It’s time to move on. It’s the equivalent of one half of the relationship trying to proclaim there’s still some good there. We got promoted with him. Fair play. But for a club of our size and the squad we had we should’ve been in the top two. His tendencies to not adapt nearly cost us promotion, and ultimately he didn’t change or adapt for the Premier League despite ample warning signs. Sure the club didn’t help with average signings, but then again you need to help yourself and quite simply he didn’t. He then did his interview claiming he’d learnt a lot and had changed etc, he went to Rangers and was found out within a couple of months. I’m sure he’ll get promoted this season with Leicester, but quite simply I don’t see that league as much of a challenge for him or them. This season won’t be a test for him, next season will.
