For an “organisation” that is so stat driven I’m amazed they haven’t clocked the fact that if you have the worst GK in the league three years in a row you’ll continue to ship goals. Likewise having five at the back doesn’t mean you concede any less goals than when you have four at the back.

I’d have so much respect if SR came out once in a while and went “do you know what, we fucked up big time on this”. But they never will. So until that time, they will permanently be distant from the fans.

I can recall maybe two solid performances during that time. On another day results easily could’ve gone the other way. So the big question is, when we inevitably miss out on the play offs who is the next chump that’ll be told to play five at the back? Who will be the next yes-man? Who will be the next to take the blame for Sport Republic’s failings?

I absolutely sussed his tactics out after watching us at home to West Brom. So I wonder what analysts from other clubs have sussed out.

Let’s establish some very fair facts: - Three CB’s is cowardly against a relegation threatened team, you limit your own attacking options. - Counter attacking football is not the best system for our players, we have one of the best technical squads in the league (supposedly). - The manager doesn’t change formation when shit hits the fan. - This IS NOT BETTER than we were under Russell Martin two years ago.
