Pah  Anyway it wasn't so much flying in was more like a semi controlled crash landing  I still more gutted about the 'Of ' in the title than being taken in by the video

Major draw back is that they have such a small ground we'll only get about 1100 tickets, if they apply the 15% rule for Cup Ties. The game will probably get changed to the Friday evening by the police because it clashes with a car boot sale or something similar Accrington Stanley in round 3 would be nice though

LOL ..... that would be as popular as a "Solent Utd" team with us and Skatesmuff morphed into one team. Mind you it would help increase our home attendences by about a 1000

Bristol Rovers 2- 3 Saints - You Tube of saints goals here
ericofarabia replied to Baj's topic in The Saints
Mucho appreciated Baj, only got up at lunch time after a heavy night last night, but already feeling better after watching that Reading must have a team of world beaters if Antonio can't even get into their reserves . That cut inside and the strength on the ball was something to marvel at. Am I right in thinking that he is a free agent at the end of the season? He certainly seems to be enjoying himself here and it brings me so much pleasure to see genuine happiness and enjoyment on the pitch from all the players as well the fans as off it. I'll be walking around with a permanent cheesy grin on my face all weekend. -
Will do if i get back in time and am sober enough to figure out how to send texts The first Old Speckled Hen is going down nicely. Have a good gig.

May the fleas of a thousand camels infest you armpits Enjoy it ... you twisting my melon man .... caaaaaaallllll the copssssssss Hope your head is better and throat ready for some more singalongs. Back on track ....gigs at The Gaumont in the 70's .... Yes went on 2 of the 3 nights, Genesis - Lamb lies down on Broadway Tour with Peter Gabriel in numerous cossie changes, Supertramp, The Police. The Jam. All brilliant. Amongst the dross was Santana supported by Earth Wind and Fire. They had about 50 people on stage, revolving drumkits and guitar players flying off up to the ceiling on harnesses. On comes Carlos and does a very passable impersonation of Val Doonican sat on a stool  Top gigs though were The Clash at The Top Rank and Nils Lofgren at The Uni. -
Still in the balance what we do after the dinner. Last night's non appearance was due to work. Still pondering about the Saturday gig. Surely 600 ml Brufen would be better

It is a highly versatile aerobatic aircraft and the 'model' version of it managed it so in theory it could be possible. Now explain how a bumble bee flies, apparantly it shouldn't be able to do so or something like that

Might not need to look as far afield as Sharjah with the Airshow and the pre Airshow practice displays coming up over the next 10 days

Just on the outskirts but wasn't Wurzel Gummidge filmed in the Romsey area? Did anyone ever attend any of the Radio One Summer Roadshows when they were in Southampton (or phone in to guess the mileage from the previous location?) One of the things I always look out for when I'm back in God's Country is the tree that I was precariously hanging on for grim life in during the day after the FA Cup win in front of The Guildhall just in front of, dare I say it .... The Soul Cellar (as is now, obviously The Painted Wagon back then) Every TV footage I've seen of that day, the camera scanning stops just short of me in the tree and scans back towards the players on the balcony!!
-
Probably not from me though ....!! Hoping our apres dinner / drinks plans at The JBH allow me to get home and catch some of the commentary and let the guests make themselves comfortable at my bar and help themselves to my booze .... could be an expensive night

With you on that with a slight adjustment ... a good cup run every year

LOL at The stewards ... looks like they have all over dosed on Ready Break You probably need to be in at least your 30/40's to remember the TV advert, unless they have revamped it
