Is my mate responsible for our good form?
ericofarabia replied to lordswoodsaints's topic in The Saints
No! No! I am Spartacus. Anyway we haven't lost since I started giving St Will's girl a good seeing to each week -
On another fred somebody said you could get 3300/1 on the same players scoring in the same order again ....... everybody down the bookies now Imagine if Hammond and Ricky put us 2-0 up and there were 5 mins left, players started falling over injured so that Connonlly can come on as a sub, Lallana skipping around 6 tackles goes round the keeper gets to the goal line and beckons over Connolly to toe poke it over the line and 3300 Saints fans go even more mental than ever .... do you think the Football league would smell a rat Lol even the Orient players could be in on it ... hopefully it would be more successful than MLT's effort

Don't bank on it ... I'm making my first trip back for Xmas at home in about 10 years or so..... Normally I only see games at the start of the season in Aug and Sept and lets just say my games to wins ratio isn't too impressive. Even the games I don't attend whilst back seem to be the same Am planning on Leeds away, not sure about home games yet as I'll be stuck up north but a nice tasty northern team in The FA Cup 3rd round would be nice (so long as it is played on a Saturday at 1500 KO)

Shame ... I'll be flying in the opposite direction ... I'm sure Phil will show you some interesting bars. Are you married? You might be by the time you leave

Certainly not in my 40 odd years of watching them ... and they bloody well better not start now

Ditto Ditto. Oh sod it .... Is she seeing another bloke, or playing with her pet rabbit -
I miss Blue Peter. How many toilet roll holders and weetabix boxes did you have to use MBs is probably the most memorable, touble is if Mrs EoA walks into the room I feel the need to quickly minimise the page in case she thinks I'm on a Porn site I will pay more attention to other Avatars in future so that I can post a more reasoned answer. Oh by the way can someone tell me (an absolute newb at all things computerary) in simple terms how to put an avatar up. I think I'll stick with the good old halo stick man which I had many years and many forums ago.

Why? Are you looking for a few sicky days off work
-
Will it be as safe as walking round Leyton Orient. What time is sunset?
-
Sounds like he is taking you up there  Does he know yet
-
You sound very knowledgable about it
-
They should be very high with both Connolly and Hammond only rated 50/50 to play  Also the way we are playing ... ONLY 3-1 .....fat chance !!!!

Players that shouldn't have left Saints.....
ericofarabia replied to Danish Saint's topic in The Saints
Perry Groves ... defo had him in my mind, but forgot to put in him the list!! Pulis ... didn't really arrive with the same expectations as the others. It may be said he has actually lived up to our expectations of him  -
Players that shouldn't have left Saints.....
ericofarabia replied to Danish Saint's topic in The Saints
Hi Pete ... and there is the basis for a whole fred of it's own..... players seen in a Saints shirt but not actually seen playing !! We seem to have had a whole crop in the Dave Jones era ... Barry Venison, Beresford, David Hirst, David Howells and more recently some bizarre foreign imports other than Delgado such as Sarmiento (was he the torpedo or was that someone else?), Kanchelskis, er lol at me can't remember their names now, but hopefully you get my drift!! Remember back in the day somebody produced a tee shirt stating "I've seen Charlie George play for Saints "!! -
http://www.saintsfc.co.uk/page/NewsDetail/0,,10280~1839045,00.html Hopefully a good sign ...Adam Lallana on the front ...... although most of the previous editions have been out of date by the end of Jan with so many players leaving !!
-
Dean probably isn't injured at all ... just throwing a moody after reading The Echo headline and finding out he had critics ......

Beatts. I say that from a slightly selfish reason in that if he hadn't of left we'd probably have stayed up, and lets face it he did c*ck all at Everton except get paid more but did get to chuck noodles over a skate in a Manchester restaurant so it wasn't all a wasted effort I suppose And in hindsight staying up that season would only have delayed the inevitable relegation in the long run. Glad he is back in the top league and scoring goals. -
Radio Shows that horrified you when you were Young
ericofarabia replied to dubai_phil's topic in The Lounge
LOL. In my early overseas days (very much pre Innernet!!) the only way to get the footie results was on The BBC World Service. On Saturdays we were treated to what you guys in UK were listening to ... and with terrible reception constantly fading away (coat hangers for aeriels, radio as close to an outside wall/window as possible etc) every second counted before the signal disappeared ....... cue Stuart f**kin Hall ... The green grass is vibrant, the blue sky peppered with fluffy clouds, a lone seagull hovers over the centre circle, somewhere in the distance a dog barks as the two teams of centurians do battle in the bubbling cauldron of noise that is The Dell. Southampton in their famous Red and White Stripes, Man Utd in their away kit of Dark Royal Blue , both keepers wearing bright luminous yellow and the ref in green and purple. What a fantastic sight and atmosphere here at the small, antiquated but full of character Dell is set in front of us today. An action packed game has seen Southamp ...... crackle pop fuzzzz fade crackle swishing noises, a foreign channel breaking thru ...slowly returning to the signal ... and now back to the studio ....:cool: Happier memories though were of Paddy Feeney taking the p*ss out of Hall and then rattling thru the final scores in attempt to get them all in before the news on the hour -
I was going to, but then I got scared of being bullied by the big bad mods

So where exactly do the parents go whilst their children are being 'cared for' by a complete stranger ? Are they allowed to lean on the fence a few yards away, along with any other tom **** and harriet, or should they go down to the bookies or the pub for a few hours. How many 'carers'are there on duty? Presumably also somebody to sign in and sign out all the kids and check identities of the people collecting the kids, somebody to supervise all this and deal with queries and not to mention the medical staff on standby, as the kids are now the sole responsibility of the council . Scrub that you probably have to sign a waiver accepting responsibility for all injuries, damage and loss of your children whilst under the supervision of the council  Imagination the situation at the park gates ... oh daddy why can't you come and push me on the swings like you did with my big brother and sister? Sorry darling the council know whats best.

About halfway between the bridge over the railway and The Prince of Wales (probably changed its name by now ) on the left hand side. First mini roundabout, on the left hand side there is a big Car ShowRoom (I think) ... that was the deep end
