I like Redknapp....he proved it at Spurs, is an excellent manager etc I know the vitriol will pour forth on here but he has been chosen because is knowledgable and inciteful. Don't let that stop anyone though.

Jilly that's very unkind.....was he more of a mis**** than Michael Jackson? Didn't think so....
-
Thanks for posting that

What do you think was so **** about him?

"Suited and Booted" - new Saints book for sale
Seaford Saint replied to Fitzhugh Fella's topic in The Saints
Hi Fitz, I would love a signed copy of the new book......will you be around around 10:00 on the morning of the Wigan game? If you are I would like to pop into Otterborne and collect a copy. -
I am cutting down now and there are days when I don't drink anything. During the Olympics I lapsed a bit, a beer or two watching boxing or some of the events hit the spot How about you guys? What's normal for you. Have any of you had to stop due to health reasons as has happened to my brother?

Expected the thread to be about the pub in Swaythling....is it still going?
-
Wow....a brave man indeed. He really is a hero.
-
I guess we have come to expect so much from him, he has been our creative outlet. He has been quiet but its relative. He still does things on the pitch that no one else can do but they are not coming off as much. Blimey we are having a reasoned debate....I wonder if others join in!

I only moved across the road so it was easy for me (the removal men actually carried it)...I lost one fish but the other 8 survived but my pump/filter didn't make it and neither did my heater. £120 spent and all is well. I have the fish where I can constantly see them.
-
Unfair to describe him as disinterested, we were playing top notch opposition on Saturday.
-
Fully agree with this.....

I would say fearful, we continue to play Championship footie and doing this won't work in the Premier League. Giving the ball away cheaply, mis**** passes....even passing to someone marked as opposed to passing te ball to someone who is not. There were plus points....Clyne has been superb, Puncheon has played well and I already prefer Shaw to Fox though there's not much in it. Lallana has been quiet,

5 x Beatles related numbers so far....Fine by me
-
Should we all sign a card and present it to him. How about a collection? As Mrs BTF says, how will he fill his days?
-
BT currently. I have just moved across the road and was told I could take my number with me. I had already taken the number from another part of Newbury to my previous address without a problem. She could not tell me why this was the case. I have cancelled the standing order I have had 2 conversations with a lady who phoned me from India...nothing wromg with Indian call centres as I use them at Vodafone where I wok and they are a delight to work with. They do sysadmin tasks for me. Anyway like another poster on here I am about to go with Plusnet. They have been impeccable to deal with...the lady from Sheffield knew her stuff.... Such a shame as I have been with BT for over 30 years and had no intention of leaving them.

Jason Puncheon "does not cut the mustard" for me
Seaford Saint replied to Miltonroader07's topic in The Saints
Punch played very well on Saturday.....Quite a few Saints players didn't. I was one of the four thousand -
£25 donated....

I have always loved Mayfield Park.....Weston shore and the flats. Great pubs like the Sun or the London Arms have now disappeared some people will never know how nice they were...... Woolston is great especially a walk by the sewage farm. Used to love the Hampton in Swaything too.

In your uneducated narrow minded opinion. Please educate yourself

I have a mate who stabbed himself through his chest...close to his heart. He survived. Not sure of motive but he attributed it to medication he was taking

Thanks Kraken, I haven't looked forward so much to a season in a long time.....looks like St Mary's will be rocking!!
-
Could some one answer the question please? How many season tickets have been sold thus far? I can't be the only one interested.

What a role model for social morality Dave Cameron is. How unacceptable is a tax avoidance attitude that made his father a very rich man. How ghastly are these grubby welfare and tax cheats who pay three times the tax rate of the average multinational company based in Britain. But The British-based Tax Justice Network (TJN) said in a report at the weekend that a mind-blowing $32 trillion of totally evaded tax – representing criminal wealth, pure and simple – is hidden away in tax havens across the world. Forty-eight hours later, Mr Cameron has not thought of a single word to utter about that. However, his Treasury Minister David Gaucke has had plenty to say about paying household suppliers in cash. Yes, you read it right: I wrote ‘paying household suppliers in cash’. Fifty quid made on the black is being given greater priority in the political Establishment to $32trillion around the world. The insensitive insouciance of the political class has rarely been on better display than in the stream of ******** that’s been pouring forth from Treasury Minister David Gauke over the last 36 hours. Not only does he fail utterly to address the grossly unfair way in which rich globalists hire devious tax lawyers and accountants to reduce their corporate tax rate to around 6%: not for one second anywhere in this bloke’s thought processes is there an even passing glimmer in relation to WHY more and more citizens in the West feel less and less inclined to pay tax. Could it be something to do with: 1. Major tax cheats get minor fines, and the HMRC/IRS tax authorities do crooked deals to get payment in lieu of prosecution. 2. Individuals pay at a rate 3 x higher than most multinationals, whose banks and their sovereign chums have rigged every investment sector on the planet against the individual taxpayer. 3. The outrageous waste of tax monies on everything from Connecting for Health in the UK and the US mortgage relief scheme in the States to ridiculous bank bailouts totalling $23trillion around the world. 4. The sense of being ignored by the politicians who set the tax rates (all the while lying about how much tax they are really after) and paying tax to subsidise the illegally self-awarded pensions (a cool £1.15 trillion) of Whitehall bureaucrats and reckless mania of Robert E. Diamond. From my favourite blogger
